Chapter 1

She is Ashel Damo striving hard to survived from this cruel world, she lives alone since when she is in college. When she graduated with honors, she applied and hired at Grey's Group Of Companies as Executive Secretary of Sr. Deli Grey's who is the owner of the Company. She is happy with her current situation in life, her salary is more than enough to pay for her bills, for her everyday meals, for her clothes to wear and to travel just within the country. Everything was smooth and okay, because she is more than satisfied with her work.

But Sr. Deli Grey's announced that he is going to retired asap and his son  Thomas Grey will be his replacement as Chairman of the Board. Soon enough Thomas Grey appeared in Grey's Group Of Companies. He is so powerfully handsome, with magnetic appeal and a body to die for. Everybody in the office was mesmerized with his Powerful looks. He was so dignified and good enough for his position, everything he says and decisions is being praised by the board.

But there's one thing Ashel don't want from her boss, he is a womanizer. Every hour there's always beautiful women bombarded her area of work looking for Thomas, and they will be entertained and had a satisfied looks when they go out in the office of her boss.

That's why she was aloof and just always have a few words in answering with her boss whenever he calls for her presence inside of his office. She is afraid that one day she will be one of the victim of his womanizing appeal. 

But when her Boss Thomas noticed her, and given her attention that no one in her entire life give it to her. Would she fall from his trap? Would she give in from his sweet gestures? Is The Billionaire Bastard Really Loves Me? Or he is just trying to figured it out if I will be one of the women who is eagerly wants inside his pants.

She is in that thoughts when her Boss called from the intercom that placed in her table.

"Come inside at my office Ashel." He says when I pressed the button of the intercom.

She sighed, the day will start again like this. She hoped that this day end will be in her favor, and that is not to fall for her boss and to not give in with his desire.

"Right away boss.." she said while preparing her notepad where she will takedown some notes when he will dectates some important things to do.

She composed herself before she knocks three times at the door of his office. When she come inside, she noticed that he is seriously typing at his laptop in top of his table.

She sat down at one of the chair in front of his office table. He looks at me and made a small smile for me, her heart suddenly strike from her chest. When he do that, he looks more handsomely yummy. That's why she can't blame women adored him, fantasizing him and love him endlessly.

But she composed herself and made her face statue-like. She needs to do that if she don't want to be his another victim.

"Ashel I want you to made some arranges for me at the Shang-ri La Hotel Garden Ship restaurant for two tomorrow. Call Don Ramon, he is the Director that my Dad deployed at Shang-ri La. I want Garden Ship Restaurant closed for my date, okay." He smiled charmingly at me while he said those.

She felt slightly disappointed on what she heard, the pang of pains in her heart made her cringe. Is she already fall of his sweet gestures this past few days, because she felt hurt of what she heard.

And what really hurt her the most is that tomorrow is her birthday, although she expect that her birthday will be as the same as this past few years that always celebrated by her, alone. But she is hoping that her boss will greet her even without flowers that's why she wants to go to work tomorrow even if it's her birthday.

But what she heard made her decision enough to tell her boss Thomas later that she wants to take undertime tomorrow.

She is thinking that thoughts while she writes on her notepad on what he said.

"And Ashel, I want all my meetings tommorow be done as early as possible, so.., all appointments that are not that important kindly cancelled it or put it some other days." He said those while he keep smiling and looking intently at my face.

She nod, and busy again writing what he said, she do not want to look and meet his gaze.

"And also all my appointments today and meetings must be done at around three o'clock, is that clear?" He added while he is tapping his finger at the table, after he stops typing for awhile.

He leaned his broad shoulders at his swivel Chair as if he wants to be relaxed because he seems sleepy.

Maybe he hopped at some bar last night like, she knows that he is always in the bar almost everynight.

"And Ashel, have you eaten your breakfast already?" He questioned at me while his eyes roamed at my face.

"Yes boss I've eaten my breakfast already." She said nonchalantly, she wants to ask if he too, already eat his breakfast. But decided no to, she don't want him to know that she is concerned with him.

"Oh., That's hurt, I thought you want me to accompanied you for breakfast, I'm just waiting for you to call me and have a breakfast with you." He said it to me while he is still smiling, for me it's sounded like a joke.

Like before, he always say things that seems for me not to take seriously because it's always sound him joking everytime.

And she thinks that who she is, for like Thomas Grey to take her seriously, he is a billionaire, a successful businessman, a bachelor's that every magazine wants him to be at their cover.

And compared from his women who is mostly elegant, beautiful and same with him, rich and famous.

That's why all he said, for her not to take seriously.

"I'm sorry boss, I do not know that you are not still taking your breakfast, you want me to call at some restaurants to take an order for you?" She flatly said to him.

"Ouch, that's sounded hurt. You still not believed me when I said that I want you Ashel, that I want to court you if it is that you want, don't you?" He seriously said at me.

"I'm sorry boss, but the answer to your question is a no." She flatly said again, while faking a small smile at him.

"Is that all boss, or you have some additional reminder for me to take down?" She said again without engaging an eye to eye contact with him. She made herself busy by repeatingly write down on what he said earlier.

She heard that he sighed, sign that he is frustrated again.

"Okay, that's all for the meantime. Go back to your area." He said while he faced again his laptop.

She stand up fast, and when she is about to exit the door. He called her again...

"Ashel did I already tell you that you are beautiful today? If not, then I'm  sorry that I forgot, but believed me... You are the most beautiful woman today.." He said while he is smiling at me, he always say that. Her ears was already immuned of what he said everytime.

"What i said is serious Ashel, I want you so I will court you, just let me please."  He said it seriously.

"No sir, you are just fond to me" She said to him while she wants to exit asap.

"If you want boss, I will make you a coffee while waiting my order at some resto." She added while ready to close the door.

"No, don't make an order. Just give me a coffee." Thomas said while he keeps looking at me with admiration.

She convinced herself that what she saw is just a pigment of her imagination, after she closed the door and headed to pantry area, because she really don't want to believed some of what she saw in Thomas eyes.

After she make coffee for him, she give it fast and exit at his office as soon as possible.

At around thirty minutes, there's a woman standing in front of her table, again. 

"Hi. Is Thomas available right now?" She said while her eyes made a puffy effect.

She wants to roll her eyes, here they goes again. 

"Yes. Your name please." She still ask question professional with her.

"My name is Patricia, Patricia Henson... Patti for short." She said it while giggling.

She felt annoyed, what is there to be giggling of..

She pressed her intercom to connect with Thomas.

"Boss., There's Patricia Henson here looking for you, Patti for short according to her, I'll send her in now." She did not ask question if he is busy or not, because she knows that he is always available when it comes to women. He always set aside his work just to make time for his women.

"Yes, Miss... You can come inside  at his office now." She said nonchalantly again.

"Thank you Miss Secretary.." She said it while giggling again.

Her forehead frown, is that woman was high on drugs. She keeps giggling while standing in front of her and while walking in Thomas Office.

She keeps herself busy while she is hurting every minute that passed, she wants to giver herself some spank for her to wake up that Thomas is not really serious with what he said everytime he sweet talked with her. 

Maybe he really just want her to warm his bed also like some other girls. If she fall for his trap, she would be lined up with those girls that who run after Thomas.

And she don't want herself to be like that, all her life she protected herself and her heart not to let someone destroyed it. She let herself to be numb and let other people see that she is strong, sharped-tongued, and moved like a Mannequin. She let them saw her that she is like this, that she is very numb.

After an hour, the woman open the door and made a wave of goodbye to Thomas while giggling again and looks so satisfied.

"Thank you Miss Statue-like Secretary.." She said to her while she looks like she is insulting her.

She let it passed, she is used to it. That others see her face as Statue-like.

And she cannot blame her, because it is what she like. That some people will see her like that.
