Have you ever screwed up so badly that you feel like tossing yourself in a magma-laden volcanic vent?

That's exactly how I felt after mistaking Emilio for Jake and kissing him. What was worse was that I ran off, denying Emilio an explanation for my behavior. He deserved at least an explanation after I harassed his delicate lips with kisses.

In my defense all of this was Jake's fault. He got into my head and made me imagine him saying all those sweet things to me. Only he was to blame for my predicament.

Keep telling yourself that, Brenda. When we both know that you are the one who can't stop thinking about Jake. You think of him all the time. Aren't you ashamed that he's an engaged man? Also, can't you see that you're being selfish to Emilio?

My judgemental conscience voiced.

Brenda, the only way you're gonna be truly happy is by being honest with yourself. Stop pretending to have broken up with Jake and yet you still think about him. Stop leading Emilio on, only to leave
