Estela listened to what Dawn said.

‘The next harvest is not until next month. I’ve already used the money in advance to pay off some bills...I could try borrowing from Helena.. But she’s still in the capital.’ She contemplated how she would be able to give her the money she needed with all of the expenses she listed. She dreaded having to tell her no. She feared that Dawn would go back to take school for granted. She was already thinking of how to give her a proper explanation to prevent this.
