She thought it all over again before pressing send.
On the other side, Keenan heard his phone finally beep.
He had waited for her reply for a while. He had been staring at his phone for minutes, thinking she would reply right away.
But when she didn’t, he could only find something else to do, perhaps to console himself while at it.
Moments later, she finally replied.
