Chapter Ninety-Seven

Eliana’s POV

I woke up earlier than Noah, carefully detaching my body from his possessive grip. The soft songs from tropical birds outside our window filled the air, and the opened glass doors of the balcony let in the calming morning dew from the ocean.

The gentle rays of the morning sun casted a warm glow on Noah. His peaceful face, framed by tousled dark hair, was a sight that never failed to make my heart beat. Every minute with him was a different life time filled different feelings, none of which I would trade for the world. I placed a soft kiss on his forehead before walking to the balcony. The tropical breeze caressed my skin, carrying with it the sweet fragrance of blooming flowers. I inhaled a gulp of the air and let out a sigh, a smile finding its way to my lips.

Noah’s love brought light I never knew I lacked into my life. He was my safe haven, my safe space. With him, I could be whatever I wanted to be. He made me happy. I am happy. I really hope I could always be happy
