Ivy

I stood on the sidelines, watching as Asher danced with Rose. I watched her saying something followed by a loud guffaw from him. I knew they shared some kind of special bond, and it was heartwarming to watch him so happy. My staring was interrupted by my vibrating phone and the moment my eyes fell on the screen, all my happiness vanished in the blink of an eye, dread taking its place.

It was Killian.

“He…hello,” I croaked.

“I must say, you make one hell of a beautiful bride, Ivyanka,” his smooth voice came. “Absolutely stunning.” I blinked and then frantically searched the crowd, trying to find that cold gaze lurking somewhere.

“Ho…how do you know?” I mumbled.

“I just do, sweetheart,” he said breezily. “I wish I could ask you to a dance, but I don’t think your husband would appreciate it.”

“Killian…are you here in GrayCrest?”

“Hmm…what if I am?”

What the fuck?

I searched around, my eyes scanning every face a

IvyIt felt like someone had dropped me in some kind of fairytale. I was still gawking as Asher gently put me down. What was this place? The steps had led to the cutest and coziest wooden cabin I have ever seen, surrounded by a wooden railing on all sides. But it wasn’t the cabin that had me gawking, it was the enormous four-poster bed on the raised wooden platform in front of it. The white silk sheets were scattered with rose petals and in front of the bed, there was a small, cozy leather couch and a small coffee table with an elaborate arrangement of champagne, crystal glasses and strawberries and chocolates.Every inch of the floor was scattered with rose petals along with beautiful white candles, while the trees and the cabin and everything around was draped in stunning fairy lights. I was in awe and that was putting it lightly.“That’s what I meant when I said I would make love to you under the stars,” Asher breathed in my ear, pointing to the enormous bed. Desire bloomed inside m

IvyAsher’s eyes were wide as he stared back at me, still comprehending and processing. He opened and closed his mouth several times and then frowned.“I…don’t understand, Ivy. What’s going on?” he demanded.“You fell in love with the wrong person…” I whispered.“Why would you say that? I seriously don’t understand.”“I lied to you. And everyone else…” I said. “Me coming to GrayCrest was not a coincidence. It was properly planned out. I was sent here as a spy to keep an eye on the pack and all of you and report everything back…me getting attacked by th

Ivy“Ivy…Ivy…” the soft female voice woke me up, and I gazed up to find beautiful green eyes peering down at me. I felt so sick, completely disoriented and there was that dull pain in my chest.“Ivy? Are you alright?” the voice repeated. “What the hell happened?” I blinked hard before my eyes adjusted to the brightness and the female face that peered back at me. I realized it was Luna Rose’s.“Luna Rose…” I mumbled.“Goddess, you are freezing,” she grimaced, and then I felt something warm around my shoulders. “Ivy, what happened? Where is Asher?” I blinked at the mention of his name.Asher.“Don’t come anywhere near me ever again.”

“I will take whatever punishment you all deem fit for me,” I whispered.“What you did is treason, Ivyanka. And the punishment is…death,” Logan said.“Then death it is…” I nodded.“But she has confessed and that changes everything,” Rose spoke up. “And we should be thankful to her that, regardless of what is at stake for her, she chose to tell us the truth. This could cost her everything…”“Yeah,” Cora nodded. “I agree that what Ivy did is wrong and it really hurts because we thought of her as family from the start. But I don’t know…what would we all have done if we were in her place? The pain of losing your family, I know that. And had I been in her place, I would have tried everything I could to save my father. And she is an Alpha. It’s her job to protect her pack members.” I blinked, not really expecting them to say that. Rose gave my hand a squeeze, offering a small smile.“Yes, but she could have told us earlier?” Logan grumbl

IvyI was draped in the most magical dress one can imagine. It was a silver gown, scattered in silver sequins that seemed like someone had dusted it with fairy dust. My hair was left open and Cora had added a stunning, small tiara at the top. However, despite all the shimmering, my blue eyes seemed dull as the day outside, my face gaunt like a ghost.“You look beautiful. This dress is an ode to your wolf,” Rose smiled brightly, even though it was evident that she was worried about Asher just as I was.“Yeah,” Cora agreed, squeezing my bare shoulders. “The perfect Luna.”“Asher?” I whispered, turning around. Cora’s smile faded and she shook her head.“Nothing yet,

Remember, these people are our allies and, in the long run, we will definitely need them.”“Will you come with me?” I asked, because I didn’t have the strength to fake smiles at the moment.“Of course,” she nodded and held out her hand to me. For the next hour or so, I put on my best fake smile I could manage and greeted the guests or at least tried to greet the guests with the same poise Rose and Cora had.“Can I get a drink?” I grumbled at the bartender, my mouth dry as hay.“Ivyanka,” I turned around and blinked at one of the most gorgeous women I have ever seen. She had beautiful dusky skin, shiny golden hair and a face and physique you only see in those fashion magazines. I don’t think I have met her before.“Yeah, that would be me,” I nodded.“I am Cat

AsherThe cold water soothed an invisible burn I couldn’t escape. My whole body felt like it was on fire, a dull ache spreading from my chest. I thought if I distanced myself from her, I might gain some perspective and forgive the betrayal. So, I ran deep into the mountains, as far as I could go.I killed a fair amount of wildlife there until Eli hunted me down and dragged me back. I don’t know how he found me but I injured him quite a bit before I had to give up and return. But not before I drowned myself in alcohol. Yet, the moment I saw her in that silver gown, the pain hit like wildfire. The first woman I ever loved was here to destroy my family and my pack. How do I forget and forgive that? She claims that she fell in love with me. If she hadn’t, would she have told me the truth? Or would she have just blatantly sold out my love and my pack to some bloodthirsty creep? Even now, how can I trust her? How do I know she’s not lying again? Trust doesn’t come easy to me, and with Ivy, i

And this was the same man whose eyes had lit up with a warmth no fire can compare to when he confessed his love for me. I could see the hurt in his eyes, the pain from my betrayal.“Asher…” Cora started but he held up his hand and shook his head.“This is between us,” Asher said firmly, his eyes still locked on mine. I gazed into his eyes and I knew this was his way of making me feel the hurt he felt. I knew he still loved me so if me promising to leave brings him some kind of relief then be it.“I promise,” I said. “Once this is done a

Ivy's momThe sun was barely up, but the pack grounds were already alive with activity. Omegas hurried back and forth, setting up chairs, arranging flowers, and double-checking the decorations for Ivan’s ceremony. Today was the day my son, my firstborn, would be crowned Alpha, and I couldn’t stop myself from fussing over every last detail.“Make sure the garlands hang evenly,” I called to one of the omegas, pointing at a lopsided section. “And Kiera, wipe down the Alpha’s chair again, please. It has to be spotless.”“Yes, Luna,” they replied in unison, quickly moving to fix it.I sighed, smoothing the front of my dress as I watched them work. Everything looked beautiful, but it still didn’t feel ready. Today was too important to settle for anything less than perfect.Strong arms wrapped around my waist, startling me slightly as I was pulled into a familiar embrace. “You’re doing it again,” came a deep voice, warm and teasing.I smiled despite myself. “Doing what?”“Worrying over things

  • The Alpha's Warrior   Epilogue (Part 2)

By evening, the pack house was twinkling with lights like fairyland. The afternoon went by with the usual celebrations that we do with the pack members, giving gifts and sharing the feast with them. In the evening, it was time for our guests to arrive.“Merry Christmas!” Shae and Archer were the first ones to arrive, bringing in piles of gifts with them. Their son Reign was six years old now and good friends with Theo.Lia and Jordan followed next, along with their daughter Hyacinth, born six months after the war. Natalie unfortunately couldn’t make it because she was preoccupied, but Catalina did, accompanied by her mate, Alpha Cristian, a man she met at the annual mating ball. She was totally against the idea, but it was Asher who pushed her, asking her to at least give the idea of finding another mate a chance.Catalina reluctantly agreed and, as destiny would have it, she crashed into Cristian. It ruined her expensive evening gown because Cristian ended up spilling champagne on it

Ivy4 years laterThe day was chilly as hell even though, mercifully, the sun shone bright in the sky, the snowfall finally stopping but covering the entire packhouse in a white blanket. But again, what was Christmas without some snow?I inhaled the fresh, cold air and leaned down to place the bouquet of white lilies on the gravestone. I stared at the beautiful engraved writing and felt the familiar ache in my chest rising for a moment. Our Little Angel,Forever Loved, Never ForgottenIt’s been four years since we lost her, four years since the second Cold War ended, and yet not a day has passed by when I haven’t thought of her. Every year on special occasions, Asher and I bring flowers to decorate her gravestone. And Christmas was something that we never missed. And it wasn’t just her. IvyThe ruins of MysticWarriors stretched out before me, a haunting blend of beauty and devastation. Where once vibrant life thrived, only remnants of a forgotten past remained. The grand white marble pack house that had stood as a symbol of strength and unity was now reduced to rubble, overgrown with vines and moss. The lush forest surrounding it seemed to mock the destruction. This was home—at least, it had been.I inhaled deeply, the cool mountain air filling my lungs, carrying with it the faint, earthy scent of rain. Somewhere in the distance, the roar of the waterfall could be heard, its sound as steady as the heartbeat of the land. This place held so much of my childhood: laughter shared with friends, the warmth of family, lessons learned under the sunlit canopy of trees. Now, it was little more than a shell of those memories. My father walked ahead, his shoulders slumped, his movements uncharacteri

Asher“Why is that?” Rose asked. “The mark probably has faded now that he is dead. And it wasn’t of any significance anyway, because he wasn’t your true mate, isn’t it?”“It’s not the mark,” Natalie said.“Then what is it, Nat?” Logan demanded, looking worried. “What is it?” Natalie gazed up at us, tears flooding her eyes.“I…I am carrying his child…” Everyone froze for a bit, processing the info until the silence was broken by a resounding bark from Logan.“What?” he roared, his eyes red with fury. “What did you say?”“Logan…calm down,” Cora muttered, grabbing his hand. “Let her speak…”“I…I just found out a few days ago,” she whispered. “Killian was the only man I had any sexual relationship with recently so it’s…it’s obvious that the child is his.”“Fuck,” I muttered under my breath. I don’t even want to imagine how Natalie must be feeling. Killian technically raped her and the child…it wasn’t a product of love between two people but…“I am so sorry, Natalie,” Rose said softly. “Hav

AsherI probably have never seen so much hustle and bustle in the pack ever before. People were rushing around, the infirmary crowded like hell as Avery and others who volunteered tended to the injured warriors and hunters, which was a staggering number. Shouts for medicine and bandages and what not echoed across the pack mixed with occasional screaming and shouting from the men. The priestesses and Sabrina were also helping, using their magic to mend those who were beyond mending. On the other hand, Shae, Lia, Rose and Catalina passed over steaming cups of coffee and food. Cora sat in the corner with Logan holding her close to him after they both had been treated by Avery. Sabrina’s potion has worked so the vampire venom didn’t affect Cora or anyone else in a life-threatening manner. But it certainly weakened them a lot. Logan glanced up at me and gave me a nod.I nodded back and then clenched my fingers tightl

AsherEveryone in the room froze, a collective breath held in shock. I blinked, staring at her as if I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.“I’ll do it,” Cora repeated, her words firm, unyielding. “If I can help in any way to bring that precious, innocent life back, then I will do it.”“Me too,” Rose chimed in, her voice steady but filled with a quiet determination. “It doesn’t matter the cost... we will do it.”I could hardly breathe as I looked at them, my throat tight with emotion. “Yeah, if it can help Ivy and the baby...” Logan’s voice followed, and then Noah’s, both of them agreeing without hesitation, without a second thought.Tears welled up in my eyes to see the unconditional love that my family had for me. It was a love I couldn’t fully comprehend, a selflessness that went beyond anything I could ever repay. I knew how much Noah wanted a bigger family. I knew Logan had always dreamed of a baby girl. And yet, not for a moment had they hesitated. Not for a second had they thoug

AsherMy stomach twisted, and my wolf stirred uneasily at Sabrina’s words. A sacrifice from Cora and Rose…what was that supposed to mean?“Cora and Rose?” I echoed, barely able to process what she’d said. “Why them, Sabrina? Why not me? I am her mate, after all.”“Because they are true Lunas of GrayCrest, Asher. Just as Ivy is,” Sabrina answered, her eyes darting behind me.I turned around to see the others returning—bruised and battered and barely breathing. Cora didn’t look good at all, hardly managing to stand without Logan’s support, who himself looked like he would collapse right now. Noah and Rose walked hand-in-hand, Rose’s beautiful face battered and scarred. Jordan, Archer, Shae, Catalina and the rest of them trailed behind, all of them halting in surprise as they spotted the altar and Ivy’s lifeless body lying there.“Sabrina…you can save her and the baby, right?” Cora croaked. “Please tell me
