One-Hundred Sixty-One: Controlling the Pups Dustin I am leaning back in the chair at work. The last two days have been an eye-opener. I am sure my mind shut down when Satyira and Draydon walked in and set down three little wolf pups. Luckily I was not the only one that was rendered mute. The room went dead silent. I couldn’t take my eyes off the three pups. I couldn’t look away from the three of them. “You ok Alpha?” Mykayla whispers in my ear. She plops down onto my lap, and I smile. I open my eyes as she gets up and walks to the other side of my desk. A frown spreads across my face. Why'd she get up? “Why’d you get up?” I ask. She looks at me with a raised eyebrow. I see a smirk on her face. I am not sure if that smirk is a good thing or not. I am not sure if I should be worried or not. She puts a file down on my desk, and I look at it. “Remember you’re going to meet with the architect with the designs of the new packhouse and cottages.” She says. “That’s ri
One-Hundred Sixty-Two: Construction Time Haze I am not sure how I got stuck on babysitting duty. Luckily I wasn’t the only one. Blain, Reecie, and Rye were also assigned babysitting duties. This, however, was not your typical babysitting job. I had to laugh when Dustin told us what he needed us to do. I knew why Rye and Reecie were given this task. I am not sure why he thought Blain and I would be able to help if shit hit the fan, but here we are. “What gave Dustin the idea that Blain and I can do anything if shit happens?” I ask. “Chris said that you two would be able,” Rye says. “I am glad Chris has faith in us,” I state. “Dustin asked Chris who would be able to help calm shit down if needed. Besides Reecie and Kaleb, who has to work, for some reason, you and Blain can defuse a situation with them. Listen we have watched over the years and observed who can control these two to an extent. For some reason, you and Blain can break through that fog of anger when they get
One-Hundred Sixty-Three: Concocting the Plan Unknown I have been observing the ranking and important members of the pack for two weeks now. We had been here for close to two months, but after I had this plan pop into my mind, I had only started my exact observation two weeks ago. I knew what Darrius and Asmoday had originally thought, but I knew there was no way to get anyone from the outside in. Not without everyone knowing. I am convinced those three women are witches. The two sisters and Luna have to have witch blood in them. They are able to use magic or something like I have never seen. I have not been around many witches, but the few I have did not have magic that even comes close to this. “So are we close to putting your plan into action?” My cousin asks. “Yes, we are closer. It is going to come down to timing.” I explain. They both nod in agreement. I just have to figure out how to get those damn huge beasts away for us to get enough time to pull this off. Tha
One-Hundred Sixty-Four: On-Going Construction Kaleb Dustin, Nate, and I are here checking out how all the construction is going. So far, everything is looking good. The new packhouse is half done. A few of the houses are built, and the girls are busy with all the exterior and interior decorating. The recreation building will start after the packhouse is done. The two new pools and the place for the animals to get in are half done as well. Everything is actually going well. “The most amazing news about all this is that no one has pissed off the girls. Well, no one knew.” Dustin says. “That is always a good thing,” Nate adds. I am glad that Dustin had the construction and architect company that is part of the girl's family do all this. From what Rye and Haze have said, there have been some minor disagreements, but obviously, nothing that resulted in injury or death. This is always a good thing. The three of us walk into the new packhouse to check it out. The girls starte
One-Hundred Sixty- Five: Partial Shift Zane That was the coolest fucking thing I have ever seen. Mykenzie and Kylani showed us how they could partially shift last night. It was so cool, but it was also a little on the frightening side. I was surprised that they could partially shift into werecats. That explains their growl that sounds like a fucking tiger. “That was the coolest thing I have ever seen,” Zak says. “Yeah, it was,” I reply. “Seriously out of all the things they are capable of that is the coolest?” Draydon asks. “Fine, it might not be the coolest but it sure is one of the coolest,” I answer. I hear a few of the guys laugh at us. Whatever, they can kiss my ass. Mykenzie and Kylani stood in the rec room to show us. Dustin wasn’t sure about this, but they told him it would be fine. The two of them stood there, and I watched as their eyes changed. Yes, their eyes glow, but this was different. Their pupils changed to look like cats, and their eyes started
One-Hundred Sixty-Six: New Land & New Buildings & Food Fights Rye It’s been a month and everything is going well. We are all moved into the new packhouse. Most of the new cottages and houses for the members are built and are being lived in. The new rec building is half done and is gonna be amazing when finished. It will have a bowling alley, laser tag, an arcade, paintball, and an indoor pool to be used in the winter. I have to admit those two did good. Chris and I have already called dibs on the first laser tag game. “You are going down.” He tells me. “Please I will kick your ass fucker.” I tell him. He throws a spoon at me, and I easily dodge it. That asshole is lucky he is my best friend. Of course, this starts a fight. We start grabbing whatever we can and start chucking at each other. I pick up an orange and throw it at Chris, which hits him in the shoulder. He, in turn, picks up a banana, peels it, and throws it at me. He misses. He does hit someone as they w
One-Hundred Sixty-Seven: Language Imyra I swear these men here are just overgrown boys. I have no idea how some of them haven’t been killed by the girls yet. I am convinced that a few of them have a death wish. They continue to irritate the girls and not just Mykenzie and Kylani. No, they have also decided to start in on the other girls. “I think they want to die,” I say. “They might learn one day,” Dimitri tells me. He is sitting at that counter on a stool. Araya and I are cooking as usual. I have seen very few of the others around today. Mitchell joined us about an hour later. About an hour later and I hear the front door open and close. “You two are complete fucking idiots.” I hear Mykayla say. I wonder what they did to cause her to swear. Mykayla usually tried not to swear with all the kids around here. Yesterday the trio of trouble came walking into the kitchen. They were sitting here eating, and I asked them if they wanted any more. Jordyn answered me wi
One-Hundred Sixty-Eight: Sicily Blain Alan and I are sitting here at a cafe in Palermo. Dimitri asked us to meet his friend. He wanted to come but didn’t want to raise suspicion with the girls. Mykenzie and Kylani have been very irritable lately. It got so bad a couple of days ago that Imyra even made both of them take pregnancy tests. They are not pregnant. I think that Kaleb and Reecie were disappointed that they weren’t pregnant. Royce also wanted to come, but I was concerned that this would make them suspicious. I don't think they would have noticed the mood they have been in lately. “Did Dimitri tell you we are supposed to meet?” Alan asks. “No, he didn’t give me a name,” I answer. “This person does know that they are not meeting with Dimitri?” Alan asks. “Yes, Dimitri talked to the person last night while I was there. He explained why he was unable to come.” I answer. Alan nodded, and we sat back, drank our coffee, and watched the people go by. I still find
