Logan I had finished signing the contract with the witches the day after Christmas and yet here I was staring out across New york City instead of back home. I was surprised it went as smoothly as it did. And according to the elder witch it was all due to her. The girl who was trying to haunt my dreams. She seemed to have won the hearts of most of my pack it seems, I thought, once again looking through the pictures that were sent to me from Christmas. I was a little sad that I missed our annual pack Christmas, but it didn't look like they missed me in the least. She did make the perfect elf- a very cute elf. The kids especially loved it. Flipping through I stopped on the picture of her holding Ethan and my heart did a funny flip. This picture created such a yearning in me for a family of my own. I shook my head to clear it. The next picture was of her lying in a pile of snow half covered with a huge grin on her face. Her silver eyes were so big and bright it was like the
Azalea It was breakfast time and I was starving so I quickly changed into the clothes I had laid out. I was almost reluctant to take off his shirt as it really did smell great. I held it up to my nose and took a deep breath before leaving it on my bed and heading down to eat. I felt a lot better after the bath and my body was definately less sore. Cassie was just sitting down to eat when I walked in. I loaded up a plate and we made small talk over breakfast. Meli came in and ate with us briefly before being called away to handle something for the pack. As we finished Alex came in and let us know that the children would be stopping by before lunch to see me. Cassie and I decided we would play video games while we waited so we went to the living room. After a few hours Alex led the children and their mother Amanda into the living room. Sara rushed over to me right away and gave me a picture she drew before hugging me and asking if I was okay. I told her I was good and I was
Azalea We decided since it was New Year's Eve we would have a Marvel movie marathon so after breakfast we headed to the theater and settled in. I had the boys grab the buffalo skins and we created a large den on the floor with blankets and pillows pilled up as we lounged around. Lunch was a simple affair brought to us in the theater room so we could countinue our marathon. I was going to be so spoiled after all this , I laughed as Karla wheeled in a cart loaded with drinks and snacks to last us until dinner. The day went by quickly - too quickly. We only had a few more days before returning to school. We made it through several movies before dinner and then watched two more movies before it was almost midnight. Cassie told me that they do fireworks over the lake for New Year's and the 4th of July so after I bundled up in my new books and parka along with gloves we headed outside to watch. Alex, Jared and Sam ran the show for 15 minutes starting right at midnight. I gave each
Azalea An SUV was already there waiting for us and as they loaded up our bags we all said goodbye to Rich. I handed him the wrapped wallet and asked with a blush, "Could you give this to Logan when you see him?" Rich narrowed his eyes slightly and smiled. :Of course I can." I climbed in to the SUV first, allowing them some time alone to say goodbye to their father. Soon enough we were off. Logan I was already waiting at the airport for my father to land. I was anxious to get home. Seeing her again this morning was not a good thing. I had tried to keep my mind off of her, but it wasn't working. My father had already dropped of my siblings and Azalea. We would be swapping essentially - he was traveling to the enforcers headquarters from here and I was headed home. my mother would join him next week. I was mentally exhausted and ready to get home. As soon as the door opened I was up the stairs and in the plane quick. A tantalizing smell lingered in the air and I breath
Azalea I jogged all the way up to our room where Cora and Celia were already waiting with Cassie. They had brought in the packages from outside our door. We visited and unpacked, showing each other pictures of all the things we'd done. The girls were glad to know I was pretty much recovered but mad that Cassie and I hadn't said anything about it when it happened. There wasn't anything they could do so far away and we didn't want to ruin their holiday. I made it up to them when I gave them their bags. I had Ashley make one for each of the 4 of us with the symbol we created - a wolf with a moon, a water symbol, a whirlwind and a small plant. We settled down and relaxed for a bit, popping in a movie as it was cold here and lightly snowing. I opened up the smallbox I had gotten. It was from Melisandra - my friend. She sent me enough dye for my hair now as well as the recipe - and the recipe for ink with her phone number and instructions to call soon. I was excited for both an
Azalea I got in some stretches and some cardio before grabbing a quick shower and heading off to my next class. The day passed quickly and before I knew it Cassie was chatting my ear off in math class as we worked through some stock option problems. I wasn't really paying attention until Mr. Matteo called my name. "The dean requested you," Mr. Matteo said when I replied. I gathered up my things as Cassie looked on curiously. I whispered to her that I would let her know when I got back to our room and headed to the dean's office. He was waiting for me when I got there and ushered me into his office. "I spoke with Elder Charlotte and Titus. We are going to make some more adjustments to your schedule again. I apologize for the short notice. So here's what we are going to do. You'll work with then from 7 to 12:30 in the clearing in the forest. They'll actually meet you tomorrow outside your dorm to walk with you to the clearing. They are working on a plan for your training a
Azalea Malorie's class turned out to be pretty simple for me. She had several books on plants and ingredients, with where to find them, their properties, etc that we would go over and she would test me on them. Most she would show me in person and those that were safe I was allowed to smell and touch and taste so I would be able to recognize them. I'd always had a little bit of a green thumb so this had turned out well. While I did have a decent amount of studying outside of class with her, it wasn't bad. She was trying to make sure I would be ready when Elder Morgan came. The weeks went by quickly. I moved through ingredients quickly and was on to basic spells and incantations with malorie. Celia was helping me with my studies for that. I had somewhat mastered speaking fae and Charlotte and Titus now exclusively spoke to me in it. She was working on incantations with me and we still practiced in my wolf form at least once a week. I was exhausted but I loved the learning
Azalea It didn't take us long to reach there and get set up. I made a few of the potions and things for incantations that I had learned so far. Then we went through the store of ingredients and he tested my knowledge. He seemed fairly impressed with my knowledge so far. "Now what Malorie did not tell you is that the most powerful witches put a drop or two of their own blood in the potions that they keep for personal use. This provides a boost for whatever purpose your potion os for. In your case you may be able to add your power to it as it will contain your blood. I am concerned about doing this with you as your blood is unpredictable, so we will start will with some of the simplier ones and see what your blood does," He stated drily. "Now grab up those 4 potions and let's go out to the clearing to try them out," He said pointing to four of the potions I had made - one for ignition, one for healing, one for growing and one for masking your scent. We walked out to the cleari
