I sat in the kitchen on the high chair by the counter, looking down at the plate of food they'd placed infront of me.

The Omegas were also sitting around me, sometimes leading a casual conversation. They didn't gossip as they were used to. They only talked about things they've seen or want to see.

Okla and a few other joined us for lunch as well.

The omegas who joined us didn't look well. They were paler than usual and were quieter than the rest.

The girls talked and ate while I sat in silence, just staring at the plate in front of me.

I wasn't able to reach for the food even once. Something held me back.

I was starving but the thought of eating twisted my stomach.

"Aren't you going to eat? The food is getting cold." Megan commented, forcing my eyes away from the plate and on to Megan.

It was then that I realized all the omegas were staring at me. I looked at each girl before I returned my eyes back to Megan.
