chapter 101

Atlas looked at he car and then the bags Steele and Havoc were loading in the back seat of the truck. It was very obvious what was happening and I could tell that Atlas, and the rest of my brothers, already knew what was going on.

His expression was just as emotionless and robotic as it always was but for once in a very long time, I saw conflict in his eyes.

Steele dropped the bag he was holding to the ground, ready to defend Havoc and I if need be.

Atlas stared at my bruised face and then down at my right ankle, which was in a cast thanks to the horrible break I suffered when Haden was dragging me down the stairs by my hair.

Atlas worked his jaw, clearly not liking the situation.

"Atlas..." Havoc called our, probably hopping to convince him to let me go. But Atlas cuts him off and my heart broke a little bit more.

"Don't even come back here again." Atlas commented as he lifted his eyes to Havoc and then to me. "Neither of you are welcome here anymore."

With that, Atlas turned around
