70 Missing

Sterling was astonished when Caiden punched the table. Retracing a few steps, the boy hurried back to his room. His heart was pounding when he lay down on the bed. He was going to have to find that location and then proceed to look for his brothers.

After a short while, Kamara and Caiden came back into the room and appeared at ease. One on either side of Sterling, they lay down on the bed and spoke, sharing stories of their past exploits there. Sterling was aware that it was only a ploy to divert his attention and keep him from worrying any more about his brothers.

They quickly drifted off to sleep, and Sterling opened his eyes as the full moon rose far above the horizon. There was total silence in the mansion. Being cautious not to wake Kamara or Caiden, he crept out of bed. After softly opening the door, he made his way down the corridor to the room where Nate was undoubtedly present. The whole house could tremble from Nate's snoring. He was fast asleep and wouldn't wake up easily.
