147 Finding Enzo

There was nobody remaining on the streets of the pack at midnight. The night was still but for the sound of a bar. The van was positioned in front of the main building by the informant from the Full Moon pack. Before long, Kamara was there with the children as Caiden carried her in his arms. Nate, still asleep, trailed closely following.

There wasn't much time for Caiden to mourn the departure of his family, which he detested. He gave the children a quick hug before turning to face Kamara.

He kissed her forehead and said, "Be careful and call me if you notice any danger."

"Caiden, we'll be alright."

Of course they would be. That much was certain, he thought, but how would Caiden manage without them? He had to be strong. He shut the van door, blocking his view of the boys' faces behind the opaque glass. Caiden felt bad about having to be apart from them again as the van pulled away.

The Full Moon pack felt like its own world. It was not at all like the city in which Caiden ruled suprem
