Kaya

After Beast gave me some advice, which was surprising even to Wolfe, I had decided to attend my dad's memorial. I was still adamant about coming, but if going there I needed to only remember the good memories of him, then that was all that I needed to go.

Several cars were already in front of the yard. My dad's side of the family were here too. Great, more family drama.

Wolfe and Beast were both behind me with their looking figures. Having two seven feet tall men right behind you wasn't something people got to see everyday.

It really helped me go through the night knowing they were there for me.

I placed my hand around the doorknob and then I slowly opened. The house was quiet, filled with only whispers like at any funeral. In the living room was a photo of my dad standing on a small stand and beside it was a silver vase containing his ashes.

"Someone actually went through all that trouble to collect his ash..." Wolfe grumbled, his nose twitching.
