Leila's pov

Inside of me felt like it was burning. It felt so severe that I didn't know how I could calm it down. It felt as though something was leaving me and the feeling went on for hours before it finally settled.

Sitting on the floor of the cage, I looked around, wondering if anyone was around. For a while, I had not seen anyone around except for Amelia who only walked by without stopping to degrade me like she always did whenever she was around. Feeling dejected, I wondered what was happening around the forest and even back at the black pool pack. I started feeling like no one was out to look for me. It felt as though I was nothing but a piece of rejected stone. There was no hope of ever having to leave here. I had no idea what was happening in my father's mind or if he ever planned to come check me out. I was feeling unbelievably drained that I then placed my head on the floor, wishing it'd just open and consume me.
