Kelsey awoke, but not in the way any wolf would like. In fact, some wolves would even prefer not to wake at all than to wake up in a silver cage that sent electric currents passing through every part of your body when you touch it. And blocks every telepathic power you think you posses.

It's basically a death trap, there’s no way out of it except the one way you came in. Which is before the silver walls were put up. Whoever put them up would have to put them down.

Who put them up? Why was she there? Where was she even? Kelsey's memory was foggy and it still hurt where Simon hit her.

Kelsey groaned in pain. She’d been lying on the cold floor of the cellwan3r and she didn’t even know how long but it was long enough that every part of her body was aching.

She heard metals clank and the tip of her ears good erect. Her heart pounded heavily and she was unable to steady her breathing.
