Chapter One Hundred Ten

Alcohol was supposed to be numbing the pain but it was making even more obvious. Her sister's words were ringing her head. She thought about her parents too and how she caused their untimely death. Her sister was right, she shouldn’t have been born.

Her mind wandered to Jerry’s words, the smile on his face when he talked about her mother. Will he still smile at her if he knows what she did, if anyone knows what she did?.

She set the glass aside and began to drink directly from the bottle. She knew nothing about the drink in her hand other than it looked like champagne and when it went down her throat, she felt like it was on fire.

She deserved the pain, she deserved to drink till she dropped dead so she could at least get the chance to apologize to her parents, tell them how sorry she is to have been born, to have brought them so much misfortune.
