Chapter One Hundred Four

A shrill sound interrupted her thoughts, it was coming from her phone. She checked the caller ID and was reluctant to pick up the phone.

She’d been worried all morning about how the day would unfold. She still has no idea how Denis intended to take care of Janet. She would have asked him to explain when they got home last night but they were too busy exploring each other’s body.

She answered the call on the fifth ring.

“Hey, you want me to come over?” She’s glad Alice is offering but she wasn’t in the mood for company and she was also scared of how Alice would react if she knew the truth about her relationship with Denis.

“Thanks but I think I got it covered.” That was a lie, a big one. She had nothing prepared. No make up artist, no stylist, nothing. She didn’t know the first thing about bridal makeups or about brides in general, she could use some pointers on the dos and don’ts of the ceremony but she wasn’t even sure there was going to be a ceremony.
