Chapter Forty Nine

Immediately after Kelsey reached the lecture hall that morning, she spotted Janet and pulled her to a corner. Her hands were slightly trembling and her voice was rippling.

"I'm restless Janet. I'm so anxious."

Janet arched her brow. "What are you talking about Kelsey." She lowered the tone of her voice. "I hope it's not about Cole again."

Kelsey replied. "It's not about Cole."

"Then what is the matter? Why are you panicking."

Kelsey sighed. "Dennis's mother told me she was dropping by the house this afternoon."

"Okay. Is that why you are panicking? I thought you guys have already met. Why is she coming over an issue?" Janet asked and held Kelsey's hand. She led her to their favourite row.

They sat. Kelsey palmed her forehead and shook her head. "You don't get it, Janet. She said she was coming to talk to me about something really important and I spent the entire night thinking about what it was. She sounded serious when she spoke about it."

You don’t call your mother in law aunt in America. In Africa it’s a sign of respect but mother would still be more appropriate. So many errors in this story make it difficult to read sometimes.
