Kaden pov

Today is finally the day I complete my alpha training.

I completed high school three years ago did alpha training and now me, Dean and our friends were preparing to go for business school.

My dad and uncle had a lot of companies around the world and now that me and my cousins and sister were older we can run it.

Today was supposed to be the day the pack gets handed over to me but since I haven't met my mate yet dad said that I had to wait.

Last year when I turned eighteen mom had hosted a mating party were I get to find my mate but to my luck I didn't find her. I was happy that I didn't that way I can continue thinking about my sweet Kaira. 

It's been three years since I last saw her. The only thing I have of her is the small letter she left behind.

***Flash back***

I was so excited and nervous when we landed in London my thoughts were only on Kaira and praying that I get to meet her.

"What's this.." mom said once Dad opened the door picking up a small piece of paper on the floor.

She unfolded it and after a while gave me a sad look

"I think it's for you.." she gave the paper to me and I read it

Dear kaden. 

My step mom said that we are leaving, shifting to a new place I wish I could see you one last time and say good bye

***Flash back ends***

That day two years ago I was so upset and since then whenever my family was going on a vacation to London, I stayed back. She was the only reason why I loved going on vacation.

Today as usual I was up early 4a.m working on my fighting skills. Training helped clear my mind especially when I used my powers.

 oh did I mention I can also freeze things? Yep I inherited my mom's frosty powers and my dad's strength. Pretty cool if you ask me. But I don't have a frosty wolf like my mom.

I started punching the punching bag and after landing 3 blows, the bag went flying in the air. That's the firth one this week. 

"Alpha  kade there are rogues on the southern borders. " One of the guards mindlinked me.

Good thing I was wide awake.

" guys wake up there are rogues at the southern  boarders." I mindlinked my friends and cousin Dean whilst running towards the border.

 One of the warriors had already mindlinked dad and uncle Liam. I found them both at the scene fighting off the rogues.

They were alot like fifty in all give or take.

I took this as the opportunity to test off my human strength and fought them in human form.

One of the rogues came charging at me and I stood still waiting for it to pounce on me. 

As it did, I moved out of the way and it went flying into a tree. 

The rogue stayed still for a few seconds but then it got up and charged at me once again. 

But this time I grabbed both its hind legs and threw it across a tree. The impact was so great that the tree fell and the rogue died instantly.

Another one came up behind me but I was quick enough. I sensed It before it could even take a bit out of me.

The wolf flew atop of my head as I ducked it. I grabbed it's  tail with one hand pulling closer to me and landed a punch on its muzzle with my other hand.

 It stung as hell I felt me knuckles break but I shrugged it off.

I let go of the wolf then elongated my nails and pushed them inside it's belly ripping it apart.

Another one  came and I froze it off with my frosty powers.

After a few agonising minutes of fighting finally all the rogues had been defeated. And it was almost 5a.m so much for working on my fighting skills.

Everyone else was in wolf form except me and my dad after the fight was done, they all looked at me with wide eyes and wondered how I was able to do it, it wasn't a surprise for dad since he was the strongest in the pack. But seeing me was a bit surprising.

 I went back to training since I still had an hour left

In these last months of Alpha training I have gotten stronger and fast both in human and wolf form and I can't wait to take over the pack.

  tomorrow I will be heading to London for a two year course of business studies at Christian Lee university.

it is the biggest university in all of London. Has all the courses one  can think of, from

the medical to art and business department.

Me, Dean and our friends were busy packing our bags getting ready to go to business school.

My sister Raima and cousin Monica couldn't come with us because they were still in high school.

we packed everything and ready to go.

I wore some casual clothes with just black pair of trousers. A white shirt and a hoody on top. Since it was still winter though the cold never bothered me due to being a werewolf and also having frost powers. I only wore it to not raise suspicions.

The pack guards escorted us to the airport which wasn't that far from home. After twenty minutes we arrived.

Mom, dad, Rai, Monica and uncle Liam and aunt Rissa came out of the car they were in and gave me and Dean a group hug.

" I will miss you so much bro." Raima said with teary eyes.

" I will miss you too little one but don't worry I will be calling you and skyping okay." I said kissing her forehead.

"bye son stay safe and call us if you need anything." My dad said.

" Thanks dad I will." I said.

After saying good bye to everyone, me, Dean, Christopher, James with their mates Cree and Alicia. Oh I forgot to mention it turned out the girls Christopher and James were dating turned out to be their mates while Dean broke up with his girlfriend in order to concentrate and find his own mate and me, still waiting for mine but thinking about Kaira.

We got into the plane and soon we were off to London.

 I missed this place so much and all the memories of Kaira started flooding in.

We got off the plane and there were three vehicles waiting for us.

Pecks of being the alpha's son.

We got into the cars while the guards loaded our luggage and drove off.

My parents had an Apartment just near the college.

It was four bedroomed. Each room was self contained No need of sharing a bathroom.

I got the biggest room and so did Dean since we both were single, we each got our own rooms the other two, Chris and James occupied with their mates.

We arrive at nine p.m 

And went straight to bed.

"Beep Beep Beep.."

My alarm Beep. I switched it off and got out of bed.

I took a shower got dressed and went down to the kitchen to make myself a cup of coffee. I found all the gang was awake and ready.

 

"Morning guys." I said going over to the coffee machine and pouring myself a cup.

"Morning." Everyone said in unison.

" So ready for the first day?" Dean asked sipping some coffee.

" Yes sure." I replied taking a sip from my coffee aswel

"You know I was actually thinking we go hunting what do you say?." Dean said wiggling his brow and I knew just what he meant by hunting.

It would be good to take my mind off things but it wouldn't be easy to get rid of my memories of Kaira so girl hunting not a good idea.

"Come on man it will be fun plus we are the only singles here---" he trailed off as we both looked at James and Chris who were busy with their respective mates sucking each others faces

" Come one guys get a room.." I said finishig up my coffee and rinsed the cup.

I grabbed my stuff and went out to the principal's office.

" Good morning Mr Black and Mr Leigh." Mr Lee greeted me and Dean

He was an alpha of the hybrid Lee pack which was located south of the university. The university was located on neutral grounds and half the campus was occupied by humans.

" Good morning alpha Lee." Me and Dean said with the most respected We could give.

" your father informed me that you and your friends here needed to take business lessons am I correct."

" Yes. We need to in order for us to be able to run the pack and business in The future." I said.

" ahh that's so thoughtful of you. So here is your schedule and a map of the university." He said handing each of us a map. " You all are in the same class well with just a little difference. Welcome to Christian Lee university and have a good time studying." He said and we left his office

Our schedule wasn't really like high school. Here I only had to attend two class. Math and business strategy class these other classes didn't matter

" so what is your first class?" Cree asked her mate James. 

" business strategy class yours." 

" mine is math." She said with a pout.

" Don't worry babe look we have the same time schedule the rest of the week only Monday is different. What about you kade.." He asked and I checked my schedule.

" Okay I have math as first period on Mondays and Fridays. And business strategy class after lunch on the rest of the days. " I said.

"Mine too.." Chris and Alicia said in unison.

" So only my and  cree's schedule is different. No fair." James pouted

"We have the same classes buddy.." Dean said patting James shoulder.

" Don't worry buddy we live in the same apartment so we will be seeing each other all day." I said and we parted ways me going to the east wing were business classes were located.

We found the class wasn't filled up since it was the beginning of the semester.

We sat at the back and I took out my headsets listening to my favourite song perfect by Ed sheeran. I closed my eyes and lay my head on the desk thinking about non other than Kaira I hope she is okay..
