Skye's POV

"Lower your voice, no one needs to hear this!" I gritted my teeth. I paced back and forth, contemplating on what he said.

"Then what does this mean? If they already know who I am and what I am, then, why are they still asking me for my help?" I asked him, and he just threw his hands in the air, not knowing what to say.

"Perhaps it's time for us to go back. This was a mistake from the beginning, and I was foolish enough to come here with you." He said, and I paused, looking at him as if he was crazy.

"What are you saying? I'm not going back with you. How many times do I have to say this to you to make you understand that I will stay here with my mate. A war is raging and I feel that it's not only werewolves who are involved in this. If this gets out of hand, who knows this might be the start of a new era of peril and destruction?" I said to him, huffing, turning my heels and walking away.
