Chapter sixteen

Her following days in the palace were very peaceful. Infact, it was anything unlike the crescent moon pack she had experienced.

As much as she loved the palace interiors and the various paintings she wished so much to explore, she was too tired to abandon her bed rest.

It was the first time she wasn't up and working. Her eyes shone in delight as the maids frequently took food in and out for her. Her meals were intently attended to.

The tiredness of the past months weighed down on her. Her body noted the changes and adapted quickly to it. She slept when she was not eating, ate when she was not sleeping.

This was her life now. The royal physicians paid close attention to her as they treated her wounds gently with Alpha Tristan at every of these occasions.

“The pain would not last long, miss” one of the physicians consoled as he applied a soothing cream to her knees.

That was the most serious injury as it was filled with bacterias as it reopened over and over again.
