Chapter 169

KYLIAN'S POV

I traced Lorraine’s scent to the best of my ability. At this point, all my senses were heightened. My wolf senses were all over the place. I traced her scent to an empty clearing all the way at the other side of town. I checked around for the plate number I had memorized and I found it.

The car was parked haphazardly near an abandoned building, the perfect spot for something sinister. The street was empty, no signs of life anywhere.

I pulled up a few feet away and saw them—several men near a van. My breath caught when I saw what they were carrying.

Lorraine’s limp body.

They dropped her carelessly into the van, slamming the door shut, and were about to lock it when I made my move. I and sprinted toward them, feeling my rage increase.

The moment I saw Lorraine’s limp body being tossed into that van, a fire roared to life in my chest. Every ounce of control I had been clinging to snapped. My wolf stirred inside me, furious, claws itching to shred through these men.
