“Layla.”

Layla groaned, turning to her other side and snuggling deeper into her duvet.

“Wake up.”

“L-leave me alone,” she frowned, pulling the duvet over her head. She was tired. Pyro had trained her until she could no longer feel anything other than pain. All she wanted to do was sleep, and whoever was tapping her and calling her name was getting on her nerves.

“Layla, wake up.”

“Uh? What?” She grumbled, opening her eyes. Eleanor was sitting at the edge of her bed with a grimace on her face.

“Yes? Is anything wrong?” She yawned, covering her mouth with the back of her hand. “What’s the time anyway?”

“It’s few minutes past two. I’m sorry for waking you up, but we have a situation.” Eleanor said.

“A situation? What’s happening? Did the parliamentarians find us?” Layla gasped, all traces of sleep wiped from her eyes, and she sat up straight.
