Klaus POV

I didn’t want to kill him. I hated to do what I just did. Last time I fought with him I was angry when I found his sister naked in my bed and almost killed him when he defended her. This time, Natalie has pushed him and me way too far. She truly was stupid, selfish and I would also say obsessed.

“NATALIE” I called out her name and waited. It took her a full minute to come and stand in front of me with her head down.

“Yes, alpha” her low and obedient voice sounded.

“I hope you’re happy with what you’ve done” she looked at her brother's dead body and tears rolled down her cheeks.

“I thought you’d be more reasonable and give up on the shit in your head but apparently you didn’t and pushed your brother to his death”

I looked at Sam who was in a very bad shape, remembered Trinity’s panicked face right before she died, and the other 3 guards who died defending my mother. This was all her doing. I knew Lucas was a peaceful soul and would never want to engage in a challenge with

Klaus POVI laid down in bed with Aria’s head on my chest and arm around me. I took it all out on her. I wanted her to stay away from me till I calmed down but the stubborn woman she was, she didn’t wait. I couldn’t control myself or how hard I was on her. The second I was inside her, I let go of all the frustration that was piled up inside me. She winced a few times in pain but didn’t say a thing and I couldn’t hold back. She was fast asleep and I couldn’t get my eyes to close for a minute. Every time I did, I saw the two staring angrily at me for taking their lives.I slipped my arm from under her and walked out on the balcony. The sun was slowly shining on the horizon when I shifted, jumped off the balcony and ran away. The breeze still had the coldness of the night as it blew in my face. I passed a few guards on my way and others who were starting their day. I didn’t know where I was heading. All I wanted was to run away from everything that chained me back. “Klaus” Aria called m

I thought that if I got in I would see them slaughtered again.“Are you okay?” Elijah stood behind me next to the car waiting for me. He didn’t know about them and I couldn’t talk about them with anyone other than Klaus.I nodded my head, inserted the key and stepped in. The house was completely silent and dark. It looked like a haunted house in a horror movie. It was still the same as I left it, nothing changed. Slowly and hesitantly I walked up the stairs. With every step I took, my heart raced inside me. I didn’t know I was crying till my tears fell onto my hands as I opened their bedroom door.“Aria” Klaus’s voice sounded behind me and I just turned around to find myself in his arms. His warmth wrapped me and I stuttered to say: “I want to … get .. something”He patted my back, kissed my forehead before saying: “It’s okay. I’m h

Two weeks ago Klaus POV I stood in front of the huge window in my office with the ipad in my hand. There was another article about me and Aria. This time, it showed pictures of us in Greece. I made sure we were photographed numerous times and gave them to Sam’s assistant to post them. She did a great job. I scrolled down and saw a picture of Aria smiling lovingly while listening to what I was saying as we walked on the beach, another one while we were shopping and we both had our hands full with bags. It looked like a honeymoon. Suddenly Sam barged into the office out of breath: “We lost the Wilson ship” I turned back and the ipad dropped on the floor: “WHAT?” “What the fuck happened?” I walked towards him. “Piracy” Sam said and I just knotted my brows confused, I never had any problem like this with any of the ships before. If I lost the Wilson business deal, It would definitely affect my stock price and my reputation. “Get the lawyer on the phone, we are supposed to have in

Aria POVI finished my hair and make up with minimalist care. I was distracted by Klaus and what he had suffered during the last weeks. His business was at risk and I felt the helplessness he felt all this time. Carl escaped or someone helped him escape. What intrigued me was the card that was sent to Klaus. Who could have sent it and why? What did everything have to do with me?I walked into the closet, grabbed a dress and put it on. I walked out of the room, down the stairs and Elijah was there waiting for me. “What took you so long?” He got bored waiting for me. I forced a smile at him and said: “Lets go”Elijah opened the door for me and the moment I stepped outside, Klaus screamed inside my head: “ARIA, Where are you?”“Home. What is it?” He freaked me out. His stress skyrocketed again and it immediately poured inside me. I furrowed my brows and started to panic. He teleported right in front of me and I saw his unfocused eyes. Elijah was startled and asked: “What happened?”Klau

Aria POV I stepped out of the shower room and searched for my robe that hung on the wall before walking out of the bathroom. The darkness was unsettling and I had a bad feeling. “Magy” I called her name as I stepped out of the bedroom and walked down the stairs. She didn’t answer. “Magy” I shouted louder this time but again, complete silence. “Where the hell is she?” I thought to myself. I grabbed onto the rail until I reached down the stairs. SMAAAAASSSH Suddenly I heard the loud sound of glass smashing on the floor. It came from the kitchen. Then there was the rumbling of other things falling on the ground. It sounded like there was a fight going in there. I took two steps towards the kitchen then stopped. “Klaus” I mindlinked Klaus, but he blocked me. I knotted my brows, we agreed not to do that. I stood frozen in my place and tried not to allow panic to take over me. THUD… Something heavy fell to the ground and then I saw someone come out of the kitchen. A dark figure appear

Aria POV I didn’t have to turn my head to know who was at the door. The voice was already clear to both of us. I kept staring at Nick without blinking while he slowly turned his head to the door and said angrily: “What are you doing here?” “Aria, PLEASE” I pressed my lips tightly and the gun trembled in my hands a little. Seeing this, Nick narrowed his eyes on me. “Do it, Aria,” Nick smirked. “Let’s see if you could actually do it” he teased even more. Slowly and carefully Elene walked towards me. Her shaking voice and tearful eyes were evident. She came begging for his life, I wouldn’t blame her. She was his mother after all. “Aria, please. Don’t do it” “SHUT UP, MOM” Nick talked and when I heard his voice I was agitated again. “No, Aria. I came to beg for his life. He’s my son. I was waiting for him to come back and knew that he would come here” she stepped closer to me and tried to look into my eyes but I only saw Nick in front of me. I saw his betrayal. I remembered the

Klaus POV I stared back at her and stood frozen in my place: “Aria” I called her name but she didn’t respond, so I touched her mind. She was dreaming, more like reliving it again. Cautiously, I mindlinked her trying to wake her up. But she was too deeply engrossed in the memory to sense my presence inside her head. Her hand trembled and tears rolled down her cheeks. “You killed my child,” she said out loud. I raised my hands up in the air saying: “Aria, wake up. It’s me” “You used me” she said and I stepped one step closer to her saying: “This isn’t real” I wanted to teleport next to her and grab the gun from her hand but I was afraid she would go into shock. She never hurt anyone and an hour ago she took a life. Her dark side won inside her and now her good side was paying the price. In her head, Nick stood in front of her with his mocking laugh echoing around. It was dark and she stood in front of him with the gun in her hand crying helplessly like a lost child. She had no con

Klaus POV I dropped my exhausted body on the chair and closed my eyes. Finally, things in Paris settled down and I was able to return back. Pretending in front of the press was really tiring. I had to fly in and out, make an appearance here and there. Pictures and talks every now and then. I was about to mindlink Aria when Sam walked into the office saying: “Alpha Ethan would like to have a meeting with you urgently” I knotted my brows at what he said: “He didn’t say why?” Sam put a few documents in front of me to sign: “Now, his beta called” “James called you?” I raised my eyebrows, surprised. Sam shrugged his shoulders and I asked: “When is it?” “30 minutes from now” I took a deep breath and closed my eyes again: “Fine, I’ll go see what he wants?” I rested for these 30 minutes and then I teleported right in front of the Storm pack territory. I informed the guards and I was led directly to the alpha house. I walked towards the gate and noticed that there was no one around, whi

Instantly, I dropped to my knees struggling to breathe. While, Kaden stood next to me looking down at me with a disdainful smile on his face; “Forgot to tell you that my mother was a witch and she taught everything”He started circling around me one more time as I tried my best to calm down and limit the wolf’s bane effect on me to stay awake. I held my breath so as not to inhale more of the powder and paralyze my body.“You see, she taught me how poisonous the wolf’s bane is to your kind and how to use it to my benefit” he said and I tried to stand up, i needed to walk out of this spot to be able to breathe some fresh air. Before I could do it, he punched me hard in the face and I dropped back on the ground. Pain shot through my body, Then he started kicking me with his foot ferociously. He was angry, fru

Klaus POVAnother lost, forgotten and unwanted memory flooded inside my head. I wasn’t feeling good at all. I felt weak and vulnerable and those were new feelings to me. I have always buried my feelings deep inside and never looked back no matter what happened. I have always been strong and ruthless but ever since I got Aria in my life I have experienced all other types of emotions. Aria stared at me and I knew that she could feel everything that was going on inside me at this very second. For a moment, I didn’t want her to see me like this but there was nowhere to hide from her. She was my soul. Within a second, she numbed all my emotions, took all the depression and stress away. I didn't feel bad nor good. Just nothing at all. A weak smile found its way to me, she always does this when she tries to hide using her powers on me. Klaus POVI had nothing to say to Aria. Not because I didn’t want to tell her, no, because I didn't know how to explain to her that I could feel my dead brother whom I killed years ago watching me. His scent, that I get every now and then, was driving me out of my mind. The first time I recognized it was back in Paris and it never left me afterwards. I asked Sam to make sure that he was really dead back then. Days later, Sam assured me that he was dead for sure and couldn’t find anything. It was like fire in my bones and I didn’t know how to deal with it but with what was going on with Aria and me I didn’t give much attention to the whole thing. Till now, I felt him staring at us inside my own bedroom and I just lost control. I jumped right off the balcony like a mad wolf. Even Though we searched the whole land and we didn’t find anything, I couldn’t feel peace. I looked at Aria who sat next to me completely drenched and she just looked back at me waiting for me to talk. She pulled he

I turned my head to the side and saw Klaus sitting next to the bed, fast asleep while holding my hand tightly. “Klaus” I called out his name with a parched voice and tried to pull away my hand. His eyes snapped wide open and he stared at me. “Aria” he stood up and sat on the bed next to me. He caressed my cheek softly asking: “Are you okay?” he stared at me and I was immediately pulled into his soul. I could feel his worry rising like a Tsunami wave.I nodded my head and sat up: “I just have a headache”He sighed in relief and hugged me. I pressed my lips together in pain but quickly hid it from him. My whole body was in pain. “That’s fine. He didn’t hurt you, did he?” He let me go and stared at me. It was a little big but it’s better than nothing. My clothes were no longer usable. I stood in front of the bed and watched Klaus sleep peacefully. He looked like he didn’t sleep for weeks and I didn’t want to disturb him. The moment I felt his mind again and his soul poured inside mine, I was relieved. I didn’t hide my feelings from him, I let him feel how shattered I was and how messed up I had become. “Will I ever recover from this?” I thought to myself as I took a deep breath. I wanted to stop feeling bad about James but couldn’t because I didn’t feel bad about him, I felt bad for myself. I didn’t know I could be so uncontrollably powerful. Never thought that

I was about to feel his heart stop from fear and pain when King Henry stopped me. He snapped his fingers and I lost total control over my power. “Aria” he roared my name and I turned my head towards him. He glared at me and I just looked down at James. He gasped loudly for air and laid down on the floor, his whole body shaking uncontrollably. He stared at nothing without saying a word. King Henry stepped down the stairs of his throne and stood right in front of me and I couldn’t hold back: “My King, you’ve heard everything. Everyone here heard it and it’s only fair that I kill him myself” I walked towards James, grabbed his hair and pulled it hard, showing his face to the King saying: “He has to feel everything I felt when he lashed me with his belt, 10 fucking lashes marked my body, and when he raped me, taking the l

Please follow us” They walked out and so did I. Finally, I was out of those four walls that drove me crazy in the past weeks. The guards took the stairs up from the palace underground prison and I followed to the great hall. The second I raised my head up I was startled. I saw Aria standing next to Sam, Elijah, Tory and others from Black who nodded their heads at me and there were new faces that I never saw before. Then I turned to the other side where James, and the whole of his pack stood. King Henry sat on his throne in the middle. I stood in front of him, surrounded by the guards. But This time was different. He was different and I was different. The second he did. Zed knew what to do and he didn’t hesitate, just like we practiced countless times before. I was impressed by him, the 16 year old young boy that I found hiding in the woods. At first, he was scared and didn’t want to help or even talk to anyone but I just touched his emotions and assured him that no harm would come to him. His powers were truly magnificent and he was completely right to hide but not any more. It was time to show off what he could do and people should fear him and not the other way around. We all watched James fly up in the air and at the same time Zed came forward a few steps, k
