Aurora’s POV

Alpha Daniel had insisted on going with me back home but I told him it was fine and I could do that by myself without having to drag him with me. I'm sure he didn't like that idea too much considering the fact that he has the alpha instincts to protect and guide others and not to be left behind. I didn't blame him for trying though, I didn't want to burden him either.

As I walked down the streets I realized how much people were looking at me. The news must have spread like wildfire because everyone I passed was staring at me in disbelief or something l couldn't place. Some looked as if they were ready to kill whoever hurt me. Others simply stared wide-eyed as they tried to process everything that had happened and what I was doing.
