Alpha Daniel’s POV

I don't know how it happened but when I woke up, it was already morning and my head throbbed like a son of a bitch, which it probably was because I had fallen asleep on the steering wheel and there was still an awful headache coming from behind my eyes.

I rubbed them to try and get rid of the annoying feeling and took a look around the environment. There wasn't much, except for the little yellow dot in the distance.

That must have been where I was going. After all, the last thing I remembered was struggling against the void feeling that tried to suffocate me as I fell into it. The only way forward for now was ahead. And if it meant taking out whatever made this hellhole more bearable, then I would take whatever. It didn't matter whether it was some kind of cosmic energy source or just a small meteorite hitting me dead on, as long as it kept me going forward I would accept anything.
