(Theia’s POV)

I saw Hanison struggle against his men, but in all the noise and confusion, it looked like their need to protect him overrode their perspective skills. This worked out in my favour.

I looked back at the back of the room and searched the crown for barely ten seconds when my eyes fell upon the most beautiful sight in the world. He had already found me and I felt tears prick my eyes as they met his. I looked to the side of him and he tilted his head before looking in that direction, just in time to see the man running at him. He dodged out of the way but disappeared into the crown as he began to fight through everyone.

“Miss Adams, please,“ I heard the familiar voice again and turned to see James mayhem standing by the door, just as in my vision. It was now or never. I knew this was my chance to really change things. I grabbed the bars and tried to look all sorrowful at James.

“Please,” I pleaded in my best whiney voice, “Help me.” His face lit up, and he started fumbling

(Dominic’s POV)I pace the hallway of the pack hospital while I wait for Doctor Greta to finish the examination on Theia. I would have been in the room with her, but every time someone went near Theia, then Titan would start going crazy in my head and I began growling at them. He saw everyone as a threat. The doc said it was probably a side effect of getting my mate back after she had been taken from me. But it made caring for Theia almost impossible and in the end, my father ordered me out of the room. It took Alex and two other pack warriors to practically drag me out of the room. Both of the warriors were now standing at the door to the room looking uneasy as I paced past them, and threw the occasional growl their way.Alex, on the other hand, was sitting in one of the seats watching me with what looked like amusement on his face. He had really come through these last few days. I found out a lot about him. It turned out that he had always had suspicions about Liam’s betrayal, and h

*** Trigger Warning *** Topics of pregnancy loss are discussed in this chapter.(Theia’s POV)I watched Dominic’s face fall as the words left my mouth.“What do you mean, you’re pregnant?” he asked. He glanced down at my stomach and then back up at me. Part of me wanted to make light of it, and suggested he needed to talk about the birds and the bees to his parents, but instead I just stared at him. I shook my head and shrugged.“Liam knew and was hiding it from you,” I said. “He and Hanison thought that if you knew that I was carrying your heir that you would fight harder to protect me or something.” Dominic’s eyes widened.“Wait, Hanison?” he asked, and I nodded.“Yeah,” I said, “He’s the guy they call The Salesman.” I saw Dominic’s fast twist as he turned and stormed towards the other side of the room. He roared and punched the wall, making both me and the doctor jump. I glanced up at her and offered a weak smile before turning back to Dominic.“You can pack that in right now,” I

(Theia’s POV)I looked up at Doctor Greta, who was grinning.“It is, right?” I asked, and she nodded.“Why are you asking her,” my wolf scoffed, “I’m right here” I could almost feel her rolling her eyes. Could wolves roll their eyes? Well, I guess they couldn’t speak normally, so anything was possible.“Yes, I can definitely see the spikes on the charts,” the doctor said, and she showed me the screen, which showed where the line showing my brain activity shot up and back down again. “Say something,” I said.“I’m not a performing monkey, you know,” my wolf responded and the line on the screen shot up. I couldn’t help but laugh. “Oh my god, this is so strange,” I said.“Erm,” Dominic’s dad, Jonas, drew my attention to him, “What’s going on?” He and his wife were looking at me with weird looks on their faces. Leah, on the other hand, was grinning. “It appears that Theia’s wolf has made an appearance,” the doctor said, and I grinned. “No, it’s not possible,” Jonas said, “She is only a

(Theia’s POV)*** Four Months Later ***I laid in my bed, half dozing and half listening to Dominic, Leah and Alex talking. Being seven months pregnant was really taking its toll on my energy. Well, that and all the various different herbs and whatnots that I was on to help Sky suppress the urge to complete the transition. Doctor Greta, who had now become a permanent guest at the Sunset Rose pack, said that she was very impressed with my wolf being able to hold off for such a long time. Isabella hadn’t been able to visit, due to some issues going on for her, but she had a video conference with Greta about what she had given me and with more ideas for helping us. She did promise to visit soon, but cryptically said that it wasn’t time yet. Greta still hadn’t managed to get a hold of my old doctor. I even tried, and he seemed to have disappeared. Greta decided that she didn’t like the effects the medication could have on the baby, so we decided to work on more natural and magical routes

(Theia’s POV)The room became a hub of activity as Dominic, Alex and a few of the high-ranking warriors began pouring over maps of the territory and mind linking with warriors on the ground. “Alpha,” one of the warriors called, and Dominic looked up, “They are swarming the south-west woods. We can’t get numbers. There seem to be over a hundred at least.” “That’s the residential area,” Leah said and Dominic growled.“I know where it is,” he snapped, his Alpha tone leaking out. Leah looked like she had been slapped.“Hey,” I said as I waddled up to Dominic, he looked at me like I was the last person he expected to see. “You gotta calm down. Then you can think straight.” I took hold of his hand and tried to mimic when I saw Lila calm Jonas down from a rant. Dominic closed his eyes and took a deep breath. I guess whatever I did was working. He opened his eyes again. The worry was still there, but he looked more in control of himself. He kissed my forehead and then looked over at Leah.“

(Theia’s POV)I shrunk back from the door, and Liam just laughed at my response. He turned his attention towards Logan, and I could see Logan tense up from behind him. I couldn’t see his face, but I knew that he was holding a brave face. I hated that I was so useless and that he was now in danger because of me. “Hey squirt,” Liam said. “What do you plan on doing with that?” “Get the fuck out of here,” Logan snarled at him and held the knife out further. I saw him adjust his feet into what I assumed was a fight stance. Liam saw it too and raised an eyebrow. “Alex been training you, has he?” he said, “Yeah, I never got on with that chap. He was always sniffing around my girl.” My eyes widened a little and I couldn’t help but scoff.“Your girl?” I asked, “I think you lost the right to say that a long time ago.” “Ah sweetheart, just because I didn’t want her, didn’t mean I was going to let anyone else have her,” he said, “If I could I would have ripped Jake Blackthorn’s head off for d

(Theia’s POV)I paled at the voice and looked down at Logan in fear. He growled slightly at the voice, but then turned and pushed me gently towards the tunnel. I headed into the tunnels and was immediately blanketed in darkness. But I tried my best to feel along the walls and shuffle my feet along the floor. I could feel Logan right behind me, and part of me was glad that he could fit inside the tunnel in his new wolf form. I made my way through the tunnel too slow for my liking and was starting to panic, worried that there wasn’t another end. What if it had been closed up at the other end, like a cave in or something? What if I was going to get trapped in her forever? I knew that my thoughts were irrational, but that didn’t stop them plaguing me and heightening my fear. When another contraction came, I tried to muffle my screams but they still rang out through the tunnel and echoed over and over, mocking me in my fear. Just as I was starting to get really worried, I noticed a small

(Theia’s POV)I stopped in the middle of the woods and screamed all my pain and fear. I screamed and screamed until I had no more left in me. No more fear and no more pain. All that was left was the violent need to find my daughter. “Sky?” I called, and she stood to attention.“It’s time,” she said, and I set off running. I had no idea where I was running. Everything was on instinct. It was like the woods moved out of my way and everything seemed brighter all of a sudden. Then there was a singular flash of pain, but I didn’t stop. The only change that happened was that in that instant, I shed my human form and I was now on four paws running through the forest. I sniffed the air and immediately caught the scent that I hadn’t even realised that I had registered, but now I knew was the scent of my baby girl. I shifted my direction towards the scent and increased my speed. I didn’t even need to see to know where we were going. I just knew. An image of the beach flashed up in my mind and

  • The Alpha's Human Seer   Chapter 61

(Theia’s POV)After Dominic and I finally completed the mate bond, I felt like something important was slotting into place. Maybe this puzzle piece wasn’t so bad. Dominic had arranged the whole evening. He was just waiting for me to suggest going for a run, and then had Leah and other pack members set up the clearing for us. It was absolutely perfect. Which I found worrying that Dominic knew me so well that he knew what I thought perfect was. I guess in part; I wasn’t used to being part of something like this, to actually being wanted, or being part of a family. It would take some getting used to, for sure.We didn’t want to wait too long for the Luna ceremony. We hoped that having something to celebrate would help the pack recover from the attack. Although Logan had already started talking with Alex about some ideas he had for the warriors. Apparently, he was a natural and even suggested that warrior training started younger, for those who wanted it. It was amazing to see the change

(Theia’s POV)*** One Week Later ***Eventually, we made our way back home to the pack house. It was full morning by the time we got there, and Leah was looping the territory in wolf form. She shifted back to human form as soon as she saw us and spent a good five minutes shouting at Dominic about disappearing on them before she realised that he had something in his arms. “Oh my goddess,” she cried, with tears streaming down her face as Dominic hovered over her protectively as she held Aurora. Jonas and Lila soon joined us and I smiled as my family took turns to show love to the newest member before Doctor Greta finally said that mum and baby needed to be checked over. It was only then that Jonas noticed Logan, who was still in wolf form and had begun to follow us to the hospital. “Stand down, warrior,” Jonas called and Logan huffed at him. It was then that Jonas realised who this protective wolf was. His eyes widened, and he rushed to Logan and began to prod at him. I leaned into L
