Cade gazed tenderly at his mate, as she lay lax against his chest, it was natural with the marking, for the mate to black out, it would take a couple of hours before she woke up, nature’s way of getting to work, her body preparing for the transformation, especially since she was a human.
If she had been a werewolf, the time would have been shortened by half, the only difference between a werewolf female and a human, was that the werewolf only required the change of status, whereas a human not only went through the status of her werewolf partner, but her body was also gaining some of the werewolf qualities required to complete the transformation.
Contently he gazed at his mark, only other werewolves would be able to see it, the human eye would be unable to detect it.
