My eyes flashed with defiance as I stood up, my hunger and frustration boiling over.

"I said I'm not hungry!" I spat, my voice trembling with anger.

The servants exchanged nervous glances, but one of them stepped forward, her voice tentative. "Begging your pardon, miss, but Alpha Christopher specifically instructed us to bring you dinner. He said you hadn't eaten all day."

My gaze fell on the trays, the delicious aromas now taunting me. With a swift motion, I pushed the trays away, sending plates and glasses crashing to the floor.

The sound echoed through the room, and the servants gasped. "Miss, please!" one of them cried, rushing to clean up the mess.

I turned my back on the chaos, my chest heaving. "Leave now, all of you. Just leave me alone," I said, my voice cracking with the weight of my emotions.

As the servants hesitantly retreated, I felt a pang of regret. I was hungry, and now I'd have to face the consequences of my outburst. But I refused to give in, not even to my own

"You're making me dizzy."I halted, my gaze piercing as I turned to face her. "Do you think this is right?" I asked, my voice trembling with uncertainty. "Do you think this is truly right? Because I don't get it anymore. I can't believe he died despite our plans."Erica shrugged, her expression nonchalant. "I'm the one who's supposed to feel this way, not you. The man I love died."I couldn't help but feel a pang of frustration. "But you do care, don't you?"Erica's gaze hardened, her eyes locking onto mine. How do you plan to kill her?"Erica's expression

MonaI left Eva's room, my mind focused on the plan we had devised. My footsteps echoed through the silent mansion as I headed to Christopher's room. As I entered, I found him sipping tea from the cup I had carefully prepared earlier."What did you and Eva talk about?" Christopher asked, his eyes narrowing with suspicion. "You wasted a lot of time."I shrugged, feigning nonchalance. "I just checked on her, saw how she was doing, and gave her the pad."He chuckled, a cold edge to his voice. "When did you start caring about Eva's welfare?"My expression turned somber, my voice laced with false concern. "I felt bad for her. Lorenzo's death... it's been tough."Christopher's gaze intensified, his eyes locked onto mine. "And?"My voice dripped with innocence as I continued to spin my web of lies. "She begged me for something. She wants to cook for you, to start anew. She has decided to move on and forget everything you caused her.""Really?" he raised an eyebrow, his interest piqued.I nod

Eva Six hours ago... Standing beside Thelma in our cozy kitchen, I methodically chopped vegetables for dinner. The tantalizing aroma of sautéed ginger usually filled me with warmth and comfort, but today it was suffocating. I covered my nose, scrunching my face in disgust. "Thelma," I choked out, "I...I don't know what's wrong. This smell is nauseating." She turned to me, her brow creased with concern. "Eva, are you alright? You normally love the smell of ginger." I raced to the bathroom and collapsed to my knees, retching violently into the toilet. The intensity and suddenness of my illness left me bewildered. After splashing my face with cold water, I stared at my pallid reflection in the mirror, unease settling over me. What was happening?
