Erica's words dripped with desperation, and my gaze narrowed as I weighed the sincerity of her plea. "What makes you think I'd even consider it?" I finally asked.

Hesitantly, Erica's hands reached out towards me, but I quickly put a stop to her advance. "Don't touch me," I warned, my voice cold and unyielding.

Her hands retreated, fingers clasping together nervously as she continued to speak. "I know I hurt you, Lorenzo, but I've realized my mistakes. I love you. I still love you, and I have never stopped loving you."

My skepticism only deepened at her confession, the wounds of her betrayal still fresh in my memory. "Erica, do you realize that I have a fiancée, and most of all, do you even realize that your videos are still all over the internet?" I asked, my tone icy and unforgiving.

She covered her ears, shaking her head as if to block out my words. "I don't want to hear about it, Lorenzo. Please, let's just forget about it."
