As I fastened the buttons on my shirt, my gaze met Eva's in the mirror, her eyes holding a hint of worry as she watched me from the bed. The duvet draped elegantly over her curves, accentuating her beauty in the dim light.

"I'm leaving now," I said, my voice low, breaking the silence.

"Bye," Eva replied, slightly waving her hand.

I gave her a nod and made my way downstairs, glancing back at the building before slipping into my car. My mind was a whirlwind of thoughts, consumed by our passionate encounter and how easily I had allowed myself to be distracted. I had lost sight of my original purpose, letting seduction cloud my intentions.

Upon arriving at the office, my secretary greeted me warmly, her cheerful disposition a stark contrast to my inner turmoil.

"Welcome back, sir," she said.
