SARA

My blood ran cold. Alpha Alfred had come for me, just as I had feared. And now, he was threatening the lives of everyone I cared about.

My mind raced, knowing I had little choice. If I stayed hidden, more people would die. If I revealed myself, I might be able to save them. My heart ached with the weight of my decision, but I knew what I had to do.

Turning to Fay, I whispered, my voice shaking but firm, “Stay here. No matter what happens, don't come out. Do you understand?”

Fay shook her head. “No Sara, think about the baby you are carrying.” she sobbed.

“ It’s me he wants and he won’t stop. More innocent people would die, I can’t have that much blood in my hand.” I argued.

Taking a deep breath, I stood, my hands brushing against the rough walls for support. I pushed open the hidden door as quietly as I could, slipping out into the bedroom.

The room was dim, lit only by the moonlight streaming in through the tall windows. The shadows danced across the floor as I moved towards th

SARAThe forest seemed endless, a vast expanse of towering trees and dense underbrush that stretched on for miles. For two days, we had been trudging through the wilderness, our footsteps silent on the leaf strewn ground. We had no clear direction, only the instinct to move forward, to put distance between us and the dungeon we had escaped from. Each step was a struggle for Eden. His strength, sapped by the silver burns and the tortures he had endured, left him weak and unsteady. My heart ached as I watched him stumble, his eyes hollow with pain and fatigue. I was tired too, my body protesting with each step, my growing bump making the journey even more exhausting. ALPHA KING EDENMy eyes fluttered open, my gaze hazy as I adjusted to the soft light filling the room. For a moment, I lay still, the events of the past few days a blur in my mind.Slowly, the memories came rushing back; my capture, the dungeon, the torturous pain of silver burning through my veins, Sara using her power to save us, and her tear-filled eyes, full of worry and fear.I wanted to reach out to her, to comfort her, to tell her that I was still here, still alive. But the bond between us had felt faint, like a lifeline stretched thin, and I hadn’t had the strength to respond.Turning my head slowly, I realized I was alone in the room. The bed was empty, the room eerily quiet.I swung my legs over the side of the bed, pausing to catch my breath. Fisher had removed the silver poison, but my wolf was still weak, drained of its energy, and it left me feeling hollow inside.Pushing myself up from the bed I stood shakily, testing my strength. My leg wobbled, but I managed to stea

Our furs gleamed in the moonlight, and our eyes glowed with a fierce determination. We approached the pack’s gate, hidden in the shadows of the night.
