CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

SARA

“Move faster,” I urged the coachman.

Knowing Eden, he would be on my trail by now.

As we rode through the forest, a flood of emotions,anger and hurt mixed together, creating a raw, searing pain in my chest.

I was a fool, how could I have trusted him again? I am not going to cry because of Eden.

I cleaned the tears flowing from my eyes. I would reclaim my self worth and dignity.

The coachman suddenly came to a halt “Rogues!” he shouted.

A sudden rush of adrenaline floods my system, my heart starts pounding furiously in my chest.

The guards at the second carriage came down and started fighting with the rogues.

They were outnumbering us, I needed to do something and defend myself.

“Hi Queen Sara,” A strange man with the ugliest looking teeths, smiled at me.

He held my hand and pulled me forcefully out of the carriage.

“Let me go! Who are you and what do you want?” I yelled.
