Aldean’s POV

Roughly, been placed on a medical table that I have been all too familiar with in time past

I adjusted my attention to the direction of the nurse that attended to me

I had another seizure and it wasn't a good sign 

I watched as they had my blood taken in a tube 

I knew I looked pale from all the shots and drugs I was administered to 

I couldn't stop shaking from the effect of the seizure I had

“We'll find out what exactly has been going on with you lately,” she said 

How possible Is it that they are back, I haven't had any seizures since the age of seventeen and now they are here to hunt me down… I thought to myself

I couldn't understand why I had to go through all these 

My eyes racked the whole medical room, worried my wolf would come out jumping at me on the bed I was laid

I looked at the wound I had scarred on my skin

The flesh seemed to have opened up completely from the scratch 

I can't believe I did this to myself 

My wolf was angry

I've tried suppressing both but that didn't help

It got my wolf angry instead 

It wasn't my fault I was born this way

I happened to be the only son of the late Alpha Queen of PowerfulHollow pack

My mother the queen was betrothed at a very young age to a man she never loved

She was dragged into marrying and was never in support of it

As she never felt a bit of affection for my stepfather 

Unfortunately for her

Her mate happened to be a vampire

A well-known enemy of the pack

Which led to my being born a half Vampire, half werewolf 

Only my mother and I knew this 

Nobody else did

not even my Stepfather

It was my biggest secret as I tried my best in hiding my Identify as a Vampire and a wolf all at the same time

 I was loved and cherished by my Stepfather as he was always proud to call me his Son

He made me present at all his meetings with the elders of the pack as though he wanted me to take over his position with immediate effect even at a young age

But nemesis caught up with me at the age of ten

When my wolf and Vampire side suddenly lash at themselves causing a seizure due to their enormous power 

Leaving the left side of my hair completely white

And eyes were green, I also had a scar on the left side of my eye

I looked different from other wolves

It was rumored all through the town that I had a burnt brain and since then, they all concluded I was mentally unstable 

Which made me a useless good for nothing wolf and not capable of ruling the pack after the death of my father 

So they thought… 

At the age of Fourteen,

I started having nightmares of My Vampire king's father coming to me in my sleep

It wasn't that I was scared of the dream, but what I feared most was why I had dreams of me walking in the woods alongside the man I suspected was my father

As we looked so much alike

All these kept on happening Until the night he did come to me in my room

“Come with us,” he said looking straight into my eyes

“Who are you if I may ask,” I said boldly 

“I'm your father” he replied 

“Your mother's forbidden lover” he added

His brown eyes had a gleam in them like he wanted more than just be my father

He wanted his son by his side ruling his Vampire kingdom 

He wanted me home

But I couldn't just abandon my pack for theirs either

I turned down the offer of returning home as I made a promise to return someday

Unknowingly to anyone in the pack and beyond, I had created ammunition and a powerful technology 

That was to help control both countries as hiding my Identity was my biggest secret 

I wasn't going to ruin my reputation with such an unfortunate incident

I saw her come out of the class like she was scared and being chased by what only she knew about 

My beta and the rest of the gang always made life hell for her even in my absence 

I watched as she tripped falling to her face

I never cared a bit as seeing her suffer made me less worried about having rivals over her

I let out a chuckle as she had her eyes on me 

As she walked past, she had a scent I felt familiar with

I froze not wanting to believe it was what I believe it was

I stood there staring without a word to her 

She had the saddest look on like she was slowly giving up on everything around her

I could feel it

But still…

I hated seeing those eyes of hers

I looked around searching around the dining hall to see if I could find her 

But she wasn't anywhere near sight

My wolf growled

When the thoughts of her talking to another alpha male came to my head

I detested her being around me, but couldn't help her talking to somebody else

I wondered why…

On my way out of the dining hall

As I walked past her stepsister who I also didn't like one bit

She looked away acting jittery like she was hiding something 

I looked down at her hand where she held a file 

I was so furious by what I saw coupled with Coderlia's white lotus words written on the file

“What do you have there,” I asked harshly 

“Nothing of your concern” she yelled back

As she had her back against me wanting to leave

The files she had about a while ago all fell to the ground 

As I bent to the ground eager to see the content of the file

I saw her 

The picture showed an ambiguous close shot of a man and Xylah

She was standing with a man I suspected was the tutor everyone called Mr. Liam

My wolf growled

When I saw his hands on her shoulders 

I wanted to kill him

What was she doing in his office?? I thought to myself 

“How did you get this??” I asked her as I tried controlling my wolf and Vampire side not to jump on her

As she was the reason my wolf angry at that moment 

I felt another seizure coming in 

It keeps getting worse by the day

“Leave!!!” I shouted to her

Making her so scared she ran not minding my next action

I wasn't thinking at that point, as I walked up to Mr. Iiam calling him names

“You good for nothing man” 

“How dare you??” 

“How dare you comfort a student??” I asked

“What gives you the right??” I added angrily 

My vampire side wanted to drain out all the blood he had left in my body to sustain him 

I could hear his heartbeat 

He was scared 

As I tightened my fist ready to punch, I felt her coming 

I felt my wolf cry out 

Mate!!!

I turned to find her standing as she stared back at me like she had seen a ghost

She looked different, a lot prettier than the last time I saw her

As she came close

My wolf cried out more

Mate!!!

This can't be…

What's happening 

I shook my head trying to shake it off but it didn't stop 

I wanted to have her all to myself, I wanted her to be all mine

“Mate???” she said on getting close

I felt the irritation rise as I yelled for her to leave as well 

“Get away from me, I'm not your mate” I yelled at her

“I can never be mates with an Omega like you” I added

Why would the moon goddess do this to me

Was I being punished??

An omega to an Alpha as a mate??

How possible is that??

All these questions ran through my head as I saw her leave

Now I understand why I enjoyed hitting on her but was never happy seeing her with other male wolves

I wanted to stop her from leaving as she hurried off 

Her eyes swallowed in tears

But I couldn't…

I wondered why her stepsister had taken those pictures 

For whom

And why???

A lot of questions that needed answers kept on bugging my head

Making me weak

“Don't let this repeat itself” I said to Mr. Liam

As I finally stumbled out taking my eyes off him

Internally, I was freaking out

As I got home, I took in my drugs

Took a deep breath 

These were my only ways of handling my attacks

I closed my eyes wishing for it not to be true

I wanted more than just a weak wolf

And now I'm stuck with an Omega

What am I to do?...
