"Ezra, I need your help." Nina said to Ezra who sat on the bed, busy on his phone as she entered into the room.

"What do you need my help for?" He looked up to see her looking a little disturbed.

"I need to learn how to defend myself. I know that I am an easy target, that's why I can be easily abducted. I know that I do not have a strong wolf and would have not been able to stand against Jake, but if I could at least defend myself, maybe I wouldn't have been easily taken, maybe I would have been able to escape on my own. I can't always depend on you to protect me all the time."

Ezra got up, surprised at her outburst. Perhaps the thing with Jake had left her disturbed. He walked over to her and wrapped his hands around her waist.

"I will not get tired of protecting you, baby."

She nodded. "I know. But I still need to learn how to defend myself to an extent. You won't always be there at all times."

"If that is what you want, let's get started then."

She broke into a smile. "Really
