ALICIA P.O.V

Marcus and I spent five extra minutes in the main town and afterwards we took a ride to the place we will be lodging. It was a solitary place far from the town and that was exactly how I liked it. The quietness gave me chills.

I walked into the large outstanding two bedroom flat which was well furnished. There were some horticultural designs made inside the house and around the environment. The designs were lightened by the power making the rooms radiant.

While staring in admiration I felt a soft peck on my left cheek accompanied with the pleasant scent of the man I fell in love with.

I laughed softly and he walked past me heading straight for the kitchen. When I was left alone I glanced once more at the amazing wall paper by my left and watched with admiration I heard a knock on the door as the man who helped prepare the place walked in.

“Good evening Miss Dominick,” he said. Those words sounded strange but hearing them felt like butterflies in my belly.

“Good evening si

ALICIA’S P.O.VI was anxious after asking that question and I didn’t know if I was ready to get feedback from him. His hesitation was a clear proof that the question was also difficult for him to answer.“You can ignore it if you want to,” I said after a minute of waiting. He sighed, pulled his face to the meal and back up to me. “You are right, that question is a little difficult but I will definitely give you feedback one of these days. For now we should just enjoy the meal,” he replied. While eating the meal we discussed most of the funny things we have done during our childhood. I said a lot because I had a lot to say and Marcus on the other hand also had a few pleasant and funny moments which he also shared with me. I got to know a lot more about him than I knew before including his emotions and reactions to certain cases. He also enlightened me about his pack and things to expect when you become one of them. They were nothing like what I read regarding Vampires. While the vampir

  • The Alpha's Catalyst   Beginning of troubles

MARCUS P.O.VThis fate is what my love for Alicia brought me. How did I get this far? I questioned myself even though I knew it was inevitable. The primordial guardian werewolf was meant to be born as long as I get married to Alicia.Another thing that troubled me most wasn’t just the fact that the monster I was so determined to stop was now in the womb of my wife, rather what bothered me was what it will look like when it is born. The picture Aracely painted in our minds regarding the child was hideous not to speak of the rebellious attitude she said it will portray. How are we going to handle a child that strong in the midst of the numerous battles we were going to face? These clouded my mind while I was seated on a bench outside. My only hope was that the child turns out to be a girl. Female genders are more understanding than males but regardless, if the child is hideous just like Aracely had said then I will have no other choice than to put it to death, also if it’s a man child

  • The Alpha's Catalyst   Compassed by my fears

MARCUS P.O.VWe took a flight which sped up our movement and when we arrived at California We took a cab heading for the new house I had bought. It was a three story building and it was located in the most beautiful part of California. I also made sure the environment I secured was far from the noise in the main city. The lush green and diverse colours of flowers blended perfectly with the environment. It was the only building in over ten hectares of land. The backyard had a larger space with countless numbers of trees. The fields were low and at one end was a beautiful garden.Walking into the house I led Alicia to her room upstairs as I set up her box by the wardrobe then helped her on the bed. I would have loved to show her around the house but she was not in the position to handle the stress.“Would you like to eat something?” I asked.“No, thanks for asking,” she muttered, gently placing her head on the pillow as she shut her eyes.I stared at her for a while. “I am heading out.

  • The Alpha's Catalyst   The plan

MARCUS P.O.VThat was the word, the exact word that will bring about the beginning of Kelvin’s madness. I knew that those were the things he feared the most but no matter how much damage it will cost him I still saw the need for him to know that he no longer has any say in Alicia’s life.“We are together Kelvin and there is no going back now,” I repeated to make sure we had mutual understanding. The way he looked at me was fathomable. I could grasp the hate and the clusters of bitterness that burned inside his soul. It was a perpetual hatred for both me and also the deep regret that he wasn’t able to prevent what had happened from happening.Right now there is nothing I can do to change his mind. With the level of hatred he has for me he could go all lengths to make my life miserable.“Even if it will cost me everything, I will make sure I deliver her out of your hand. I will make sure the world knows what you are and when they do I will be glad to watch you hanged to death and all th

  • The Alpha's Catalyst   The interview

MARCUS P.O.VWhile they were gathering all the materials they would need I asked Mark about his son Stiles just to make sure he stayed outside long enough for Silas to go through with our plan. About thirty minutes after engaging him in the conversation one of the cops approached us saying that everything was now set.Hopefully no one suspected anything so I followed Eddie into the room which the cops had prepared for the interview. I walked in with Mark and another officer as we approached Kelvin who was seated on a chair opposite the entrance door. His eyes were on me the moment we walked in; however considering the fact that Silas must have performed the hypnoses on him I overlooked it.Mark and the other officer who accompanied us settled down on the two chairs opposite Kelvin while I stood beside Mark with a close look at the expression on Kelvin’s face. Mark was the one to ask the questions while the duty of his colleague was to write down the records from Kelvin’s statement.“I

  • The Alpha's Catalyst   The foreign detective from India

MARCUS POVFrom all that Mark told me about this foreigner, I could tell that he was really talented especially after hearing of his past success in many parts of the world. Seeing the dangers that he imposed I decided to spend one night with Eddie since they were to welcome the foreigner early the next morning.I arrived at Eddie’s house later that evening as he offered me the guest room for the night. The room was conducive and everything that could offer comfort was present. He was plain about how terrible his cooking skill was so instead of preparing anything he bought food from a nearby restaurant.During the meal I engaged Eddie in the conversation about the incoming visitor and from our conversation he seemed happy that the mysteries in California were gradually coming to light.“His name is Sharma Atluri,” Eddie said and I paused.“Isn’t that name Indian?” I asked.“Yes it is, he is from India,” he replied. “He has an interesting profile however I only hope he is as good as we

  • The Alpha's Catalyst   Make haste

MARCUS P.O.VWas that a threat or was it a warning that my world is about to crumble? I thought to myself as soon as I boarded a taxi heading to my house. Atluri’s last words before leaving the police station left me wondering what his next move could be. Another thing that troubled me was the fact that his mind remained as neutral as possible.Summing everything up I knew that the case had been given into the hands of a real specialist and if I was going to beat him, it was going to take a lot of time since he approached the case differently from the norms in California.“This is beyond my control, Ronald has to return to Alpha Harold before the pack finds out that he had gone missing,” I whispered to myself then took out my cell phone as I dialled his number.“Hello, Marcus,” Ronald said as soon as he answered the phone.“Ronald, where are you?” I asked.“I am in a safe place at the moment. How have you and Alicia been?” he asked.“Things are very hectic now but that was not the rea

Zoey asked."No, I haven't really thought about it lately," he replied."Hold on, are you…" "Don't even complete that statement," Maxwell interrupted Zoey. "I've been occupied with other things and I am sure the right time will come." The place was silent for a while. "I'm sorry, I almost forgot how hard it is when viewing the world from your eyes. It must have been dark," Zoey said."It was, but thanks to my parents who gleamed light on me," Maxwell replied. "We haven't told you yet but finding a partner for Maxwell isn't as easy as it is for you if not he would have found one by now," I said. Alicia, Maxwell and Stiles were also with me.We went upstairs as we walked through a fancy door which opened up to a large and furnished room. There was a large round table at the center of the room and an elderly man was seated on one of the chairs.“Mr. Lucas, your guests have arrived,” the man who brought us in announced.Lucas’ eyes lit the moment he saw us. “Oh, please take a seat,” he said with a cheerful smile on his face and we all did. “This must be your beautiful wife Alicia Lindsey.”“Yes, she is,” I replied then furrowed my eyebrows in uncertainty. “How did you know?” I asked. He lifts his eyebrows. “Well, news flies these days, especially giv

  • The Alpha's Catalyst   BLOOD MOON; THE LAST TRY

ALICIA P.O.VIt hurts so much to think I was wrong but it hurts even more to give up trying. I had always fought to have even if it was a moment with my son but now at the verge of losing everything I realized I had made a terrible mistake.I saw his deadly fangs above me; they were ready to rip off my bones. His claws were more painful than anything I had ever felt. I had lost him to the darkness. All these could have been avoided if not for my greed. If I had sacrificed him earlier, I would have been able to save everyone.I was about to take my last breath when I heard a clash. I opened my eyes and Maxwell was off me. I looked sideways to see Marcus struggling to hold him back from getting to me.‘No,’ I thought to myself as I transformed into a human. I struggled on my feet. If anyone had to die while trying to stop him then it would be me.“Maxwell, stop please,” I yelled but my voice ended in a whisper. While approaching, I watched Maxwell hit Marcus severally until he returned

  • The Alpha's Catalyst   BLOOD MOON; THE DAY WE FEARED

MARCUS P.O.VFinally it’s time, the dark clouds had covered the sky and it was only thirty minutes before the blood moon rises. We were all in the woods, far deep into the island and as far away as possible from the main city. There were a lot of us. Alicia and I were only standing about ten feet away from Maxwell while Ronald, Wilfred and Flynn were chaining him to the trees. We found the best spot in the forest with the largest trees and we also used multiple large iron chains in hopes that they will be able to hold him until his transformation is complete.I could already see Maxwell’s beastly eyes as he kept glaring at us.“Ronald, hurry up,” I said.“It’s almost ready,” he answered and after a while they both returned to where I was standing.“Max, you have to stay calm, you can do this,” Alicia said.“No, I can’t,” Maxwell replied. “Save me, please… Mom,” he called out.I held her back when she was about to take a step. She looked at me and I wagged my head gently."Dad, why are

MARCUS P.O.VNo one has ever done this before and I won't be doing either if the matters at hand were not delicate. Thus time Aracely won't be the one coming to me, I would be meeting her myself."Aracely!" I called as soon as I arrived at her secret grounds."Marcus," I heard her voice behind and I turned to see her standing just three feet away. "What are you doing, you should not be here." "I need answers, Aracely. Enough of the preamble… tell me what I should expect tomorrow," I said."I have already told you everything you have to know. Tomorrow will crown his fate and the chance he will be good is slim, it might not work so you must be prepared," She replied."No, let me look at it myself," I said."That has never happened since the history of Alpha’s, you cannot use that sacred tool," She said.“It doesn’t matter now. If my son falls into the darkness he will destroy you and burn down this place and there will be nothing left…”“Enough! Marcus,” she interrupted me. “You have a

MARCUS P.O.V“Hi everyone, my name is Maxwell Dominick and I am only doing a reintroduction in case of those of you that might have heard of me but never seen me in person. As we all know today is my birthday and I am entirely grateful to all of you for being here but most especially to my awesome parents Mr and Mrs Dominick. They have always stood by me all through, most especially my mother Alicia Dominick…”I heaved a sigh as I closed my eyes in disappointment at the last sentence he made. I looked at Alicia and I could see the huge smile over her face. I could tell that she was enjoying it. I thought I was Maxwell’s favourite but it ended up being her.“Most especially your mother, huh,” I chuckled, then looked back at the stage.“I am grateful that despite the challenges she was tough enough to face it and determined to hold on to me until the end, even if it could have killed her. When everyone gave up on me she persisted. I love you so much mom and I will love you until the end

  • The Alpha's Catalyst   TURNING EIGHTEEN; PART TWO

MARCUS P.O.VI walked inside the building while holding Alicia’s hand. The hall was filled up with both humans and werewolves as rock music filled the air. There was no strange pack present; I made sure that the sentinels never allowed any werewolf from another tribe to venture into the island.Everything was coordinated just like it should be and I trusted my pack to be great at blending in with the humans without causing any arousal, and that was all thanks to my late parents who taught them well.“Marcus, look who showed up,” Alicia said. I looked only to see that it was Katherine. I saw the excitement over Alicia’s face.“Will she be a burden to you?” I asked.“Are you kidding me,” Alicia said with a frown on her face.“Sorry, I was only joking, go on, go and have fun with your friend, I will keep an eye on things,” I said to her.“Okay, please watch Max but don’t spy on him,” she said.“Yes ma’am, but you know that they both mean the same thing…” I was yet to complete my statemen

ALICIA'S P.O.VSix years passed after we reconciled with Meredith and her son Daniel. Even after these six years Marcus had not retrieved the briefcase from Lucas. However, he Still assumed his position as the Alpha of his father's pack.He wasn't the only ruler of the pack since I was ruling beside him. To me it all seemed like a dream. And when speaking of a dream I am talking about the story of a feeble human who fell in love with a charming beast, a mortal chased and hunted by a pack for years was now ruling as Luna of the same pack that tried to kill her.Now the feeble mortal is known as the most revered Luna since the history of the Dominik's pack. And not just that, but far stronger than any Luna who had ever ruled beside the Alpha.Looking back from where I am I was grateful for everything that I had gone through. All my efforts were worth it and even my son, the one they say will doom the world had the most charms than anyone else.I was not only glad to have him but I am al

I couldn’t understand the level of pain the old lady was going through but could only imagine it. Even right now I feel sorry and indebted to her.The dark cloud had already covered the sky when Meredith escorted us out of the house. She wrapped her blanket around her body to protect her from the cold breeze and by the time we arrived at our car she looked down at Maxwell. “Thank you for showing me what you showed me earlier. It felt good to see her face again,” she said to him.“You are welcome ma’am. I know you needed it,” Maxwell replied.Hearing that got me curious but I guessed it was best that I don’t ask. I was okay as long as whatever he showed Meredith made her see things differently.“Guys, I think we have company,” Ronald alarmed us. I looked to see who he was speaking of and from the distance I saw a young man approaching with a bottle of drink in his hand.“Daniel... Ma
