That was the word, the exact word that will bring about the beginning of Kelvin’s madness. I knew that those were the things he feared the most but no matter how much damage it will cost him I still saw the need for him to know that he no longer has any say in Alicia’s life.

“We are together Kelvin and there is no going back now,” I repeated to make sure we had mutual understanding.

The way he looked at me was fathomable. I could grasp the hate and the clusters of bitterness that burned inside his soul. It was a perpetual hatred for both me and also the deep regret that he wasn’t able to prevent what had happened from happening.

Right now there is nothing I can do to change his mind. With the level of hatred he has for me he could go all lengths to make my life miserable.
