AYLA'S POV

Summoned by the superior Alpha as said by my maid, I had no choice but to obey and let them lead me to the hall in which he waited for me.

The maids had come in earlier to inform me that the Alpha had called me in to have Dinner with him in the Great hall....I wondered where that was.

Arriving at a huge wooden door, With a wolf head carving at the front, it was opened by the two door men at the entrance.....surprisingly it took 2 people to open the door, must be really heavy I thought.

Inside of the hall lied a long table with chairs on each side and a particularly special chair made for the Ruler.

There he was sitting on that Chair, with his uptight demeanour, his eyes narrowed at me piercing with a gaze as I walked down to where I was to be seated just beside him.

My meal was already laid down on the table for me, but I still sat there not willing to eat.....before he spoke.

"You skipped ur meals today, why?" He asked.

How should that concern you, I hate it here and how am I sure it's not a trick to poison me.

"I asked question" 

'Nothing, I don't feel like eating' I replied fast.

"I'd very much like for my bride to be in good shape and eat healthy" he said dryly.

Disgusted by his statement, I kept mute forcing a pleased expression as to hide the anger beneath me.

"Your Father has killed alot of my kind, not sparing any single one he comes across" he paused to take a bite from his steak.

"You are lucky I am using u for something much more valuable instead if taking my revenge right away"

"You are here to bear me a heir, so u had better start eating or I'll tell them to make you eat" he said in a low husky voice.

He wasn't just telling me, he was threatening me in a simple but intense way.

Picking up the cutleries beside the plate, I digged into the food slowly....

I sat through the dinner eating like a trapped mouse, avoiding his eyes by all means, hoping it'd be over soon.

The air filled with Tension and silence it was soon broken by the intrusion of a woman, oh how I was glad someone came by a distraction to keep this lurking Man away.

Looking at the woman who walked in our eyes met but not in usual way, she had a thornly look as if she had seen me before and we weren't on good terms.

"This is Elara, she is part of our pack" Darius introduced.

"She must be slut girl you bought" Elara replied.

Well that's not a very nice remark to someone you're just meeting for the first time.

I didn't know this woman, but I'm sure she knows me and she hates me, it's written all over her gaze at me even openly to her harsh words.

Knowing she was part of the pack means she also possesses some power and I was no match for her, but there was something else apart from the fact that she might hate me for my father's sins, she looked like she was marking a territory.

Rubbing her palms all over Darius hands I immediately got the hint!

She liked Darius and saw me as a threat.

DARIUS POV 

Getting tired of the tense atmosphere between Elara and Ayla I dropped my spoon to call their attention.

'I'll Escort you to your room now, let's go' I said to Ayla.

Stunned by my sudden words she laid down her napkin and cutleries standing up obediently as I followed her from behind.

I could feel the anger rising from within Elara, I was the only one stopping her from that outburst so she had to keep in no matter what.

Ayla followed in front of me, walking towards the door while I walked behind her and Elara after me.

Elara didn't keep her eyes off us even for a moment she couldn't stand the fact that I was choosing someone else as my bride and not just anyone, A wolfslayer's Daughter at that.

"Excuse me Alpha, I have some pending matters to attend to" she finally left abruptly leaving me and Elara alone.

I had intend to tell her that night that she had to bear me a heir soon and this was this perfect time.

'I have made arrangements for you to start your duties as of tommorow'

"Duties?" She asked naively.

Surprised as to which maybe she was faking or not I told her directly.

'You will be visiting me regularly, to get pregnant so you can bear me a child', I stated clearly.

A slight chuckle left her lips as she stared at me,

"What do I look like?, a tool for ur use?"

"I believe it's my body and I have a right to it, I will not be used by you to bear you any heir", She replied in 

Furious at how fearless she had become to her speaking to him in such manner, I grabbed her by her neck pinning her to the wall as I sternly warned her.....

'You owe me for sparing ur life!' 

'In return u get to preform ur duties as my bride and give me my heir' I said staring deep in her eyes as eyes began to roll to the back.

Noticing she was choking out I released my hand still holding on to her  while she catched  her breath

"You Ruthless, inconsiderate Alpha, I will never step foot in ur chambers" she said struggling in my arms as tears rolled down her eyes.

Grabbing her by the waist I got to her room door ordered the maid to be out as I threw her into the room and locked her in,taking

 the keys, including the spare with the maid.

She has to be punished for her behaviour and this was just the start of it.
