Oscar could feel it, his blood began to boil. There was something in Era's words and manner that ignited his natural instincts. So, he remained alert, preparing himself for any possibilities that might unfold.

Trying to calm himself amidst the onslaught of intuition that instantly awakened his wolfish soul, Oscar took a deep breath, trying to contain the sudden rush in his chest. He persisted and decided to halt his steps, unwilling to risk approaching Era any closer for fear that a misinterpretation of his instincts might cloud his judgment.

"Actually," Oscar said, furrowing his brow for a moment. He could not believe how his voice was shaking. Then he cleared his throat. "What do you want to say, Era?"

Era let out a long sigh. Then she stood up and approached Oscar with a confused expression on her face. "I don't know. I just realized something after I woke up from the coma."

"What is it?"

"There were some voices and emotions that felt strange. They weren't mine, but I could feel th

The tickling sensation Era felt suddenly disappeared. Her expression slowly changed. She looked tense and anxiety was visible in her eyes.Oscar knew that Era was in a difficult situation. All of fate and reality came so suddenly that Era was on the verge of uncertainty. He just hoped that Era would slowly accept it as time went on.Oscar's hope began to show signs of becoming reality when he received information from Ursa. Era's desire to learn and train to become a full werewolf was a good sign. However, he did not want to be too arrogant and assume that it was also a sign that Era had accepted herself.Era's reaction reinforced that thought. So, Oscar smiled and tried to suppress the disappointment that began to rise in his chest. He reassured himself that he was okay; after all, Era would still be completely his."Calm down, Era. You don't have to be so tense," Oscar said with a thin smile. In his heart he prayed that his expression did not show any signs of disappointment. "You c

EpilogueDate 14th. The peace and tranquility that had enveloped the Xylvaneth Pack’s Palace felt different this time. The reason was unknown, but nature gave clear signs. The night breeze blew with soothing waves, barely a whisper, as if to ensure that its caress wouldn't harm anyone, including the old leaves struggling to cling to their branches. It brought a coolness that would surely bring serenity. At the same time, the sweet scent of wildflowers and fresh grass wafted along. They were like natural perfumes that would delight anyone who caught a whiff. The small river behind the Palace didn't want to be left out. It added to the ambiance of the night with its constant babbling. Its sound was melodious, like a soft musical melody.Above all, the full moon shone brightly that night. Its light shone so beautifully, casting lovely shadows on the trees like a seductive living painting. One of a thousand nights, rarely would a night feel as magnificent as this one. Its uniqueness felt

The cheers were so deafening that they echoed throughout the arena, drowning out all other sounds. Applause and shouts echoed from every corner of the packed stands. Their faces were filled with enthusiasm and fervor, their eyes refusing to blink for even a second, as if they didn't want to miss a single moment of the action in the arena.Various reactions erupted from the crowd. Some held their breath as the two fighters attacked and defended with equal tenacity. Others showed expressions of awe, natural when witnessing the skill of both fighters. In addition, many in the crowd shouted out their names to cheer them on."Come on, Alpha!""Go, Alpha!""Come on, Seth! Don't give up! Keep fighting!"Suddenly, the cheering stopped. The crowd collectively turned their attention to one point, their new Luna, Era.Era raised her fist in the air. She was just like any other spectator, watching the fight with passion and enthusiasm. However, it wasn't her cheering for the Alpha that caused the

Oscar appeared jubilant, his smile widening as he approached Era after the wrestling match between him and Seth ended. He stopped right in front of Era and spoke, ignoring the sweat dripping from his face."See? You only have to cheer for me once and I defeat Seth instantly."Era gaped. She hadn't expected Oscar to run out of the arena just to tell her that. Her face warmed and her cheeks turned red. As a result, everyone present began to cheer for them.Surprised, Era briefly cleared her throat. She tried to keep her composure, even though it felt incredibly difficult. It was the first time in her life that she found herself in such a situation. "Yes, of course I saw. You defeated my guard, Oscar."Oscar groaned with a desperate expression and looked irritated. "That's not the point, Era."Era rolled her eyes briefly. Of course she understood. "Congratulations, Oscar," she said, making Oscar smile even wider. "Congratulations on beating my guard."Oscar's smile faded, replaced by a h

Frankly, Era had never thought that watching fights—especially boxing, wrestling, and wolf fighting—could be fun. The enthusiasm that had never been stirred before suddenly surged, and she found herself enjoying the match with full vigor, something completely unexpected when Ursa had invited her earlier. At first, Era refused. The reason was simple; she could already foresee the size of the arena, considering that Oscar and Seth were fighting. Of course, no one wanted to miss such an intriguing fight, regardless of the fact that the winner was easy to guess. Still, the crowd was confident that Seth wouldn't give up easily. Seth would certainly fight with all his might, and that was what made the fight so attractive. Now Era felt grateful that she had accepted Ursa's invitation. She was very grateful because Ursa had insisted, pushing aside the reluctance that had been ingrained in her for so long. It turned out that Ursa wasn't exaggerating when she said it would be an exciting match.

"A chamomile plantation?"Oscar nodded, his expression becoming serious. "Aaron likes to brew chamomile tea for me. So, I thought I might as well start a chamomile plantation. Besides, it could be an additional commodity for the company."Era couldn't speak. She only looked at Oscar briefly for unexpected reasons. At first, she thought that Oscar was developing the business because he was motivated to increase the coffers of his food company, Xylvaneth—exactly the same name as the Pack. But that turned out not to be the case. "You are very attentive to Aaron.""Of course. Aaron has been a great help to me. There are a few things that he somehow managed to solve very easily."But Oscar didn't want to go into details with Era. He was sure it wasn't necessary. So, he decided to keep everything to himself, from the short lessons Aaron gave him to be more patient to the brilliant idea that made him temporarily move into Era's apartment in Celestial City.Oscar couldn't imagine what would b

It seemed rare for the Xylvaneth Pack to hold two celebrations so close together. Usually, the celebrations were spaced out, and even if there had been an unexpected celebration, it would have been impossible for them to be so close together, barely two months apart. It seemed that only a month ago, the Xylvaneth Pack had celebrated The Blessing of Luna, and now they were celebrating another festival, The Inauguration of The Gamma. It was no surprise that the pack was truly joyful. After all, the Palace never failed to organize celebrations that were enjoyable for everyone. The Sacred Ceremony, led directly by Ursa, had just concluded. Era was more than happy. She had convinced herself to agree with everything when it came to Oscar. Their interactions over the months had made her realize that arguing with Oscar was pointless. It only drained her energy, and besides, his wisdom had proven him right on several occasions. Now, the most important thing for Era was to end the conversation that had indicated a change in the atmosphere. The air around her began to feel different. Her body even began to show symptoms that had become familiar lately when they were alone together.Era cleared her throat and removed her hand from Oscar's. Then she rubbed her hands together, as if she wanted to erase the traces of Oscar that remained there. Meanwhile, she began to pray in her heart, hoping that there would be something to distract the attention so that the subject would soon change.Fortunately, Era's hope was soon fulfilled. The festivities made it impossible for her and Oscar to withdraw from the crowd for long. Their private

Getting enough rest was never the answer to Era's anxiety; she had proven that. No matter how often or how long she slept, it didn't make her feel better. In fact, it only made her feel worse. When she slept, she was trapped in nightmares, and when she woke up, she was faced with a grim reality."Oscar?"Era looked around to find the room silent. However, she managed to move her body, albeit with great difficulty. She got out of bed and at the same time Aaron entered the room."Luna." Aaron approached and helped Era. "How are you feeling?"Era winced slightly. She sat down and Aaron quickly prepared a glass of warm water. "I've never felt so bad, Aaron." She accepted the warm water and took a few sips. Era remained silent as she felt the change in the atmosphere of the room. She cleared her throat, took a deep breath and scanned her surroundings. She saw Philo, who had just said something completely absurd. I am the last descendant of the Selunar Pack? Impossible.Era then turned to Dom. She remembered that just moments ago, maybe only a few minutes before, Dom had asked her about the possibility that her parents were not her biological parents. How could he ask such a strange thing? Finally, Era looked at Oscar. She paused for a moment before finally speaking in a low voice. "No, Oscar." She shook her head. "That's not me. I don't know anything about the Selunar Pack. It's completely unfounded gossip. I am the daughter of Amiass Ross and Sylvie Blair."This time, Oscar said nothing. He just stared at Era intently without blinking. His gaze was unreadable, which made Era feel uncomfortable.Era bit her lower lip. She tried to control herself as the discomfort made her act strangely.
