Oscar appeared jubilant, his smile widening as he approached Era after the wrestling match between him and Seth ended. He stopped right in front of Era and spoke, ignoring the sweat dripping from his face.

"See? You only have to cheer for me once and I defeat Seth instantly."

Era gaped. She hadn't expected Oscar to run out of the arena just to tell her that. Her face warmed and her cheeks turned red. As a result, everyone present began to cheer for them.

Surprised, Era briefly cleared her throat. She tried to keep her composure, even though it felt incredibly difficult. It was the first time in her life that she found herself in such a situation. "Yes, of course I saw. You defeated my guard, Oscar."

Oscar groaned with a desperate expression and looked irritated. "That's not the point, Era."

Era rolled her eyes briefly. Of course she understood. "Congratulations, Oscar," she said, making Oscar smile even wider. "Congratulations on beating my guard."

Frankly, Era had never thought that watching fights—especially boxing, wrestling, and wolf fighting—could be fun. The enthusiasm that had never been stirred before suddenly surged, and she found herself enjoying the match with full vigor, something completely unexpected when Ursa had invited her earlier. At first, Era refused. The reason was simple; she could already foresee the size of the arena, considering that Oscar and Seth were fighting. Of course, no one wanted to miss such an intriguing fight, regardless of the fact that the winner was easy to guess. Still, the crowd was confident that Seth wouldn't give up easily. Seth would certainly fight with all his might, and that was what made the fight so attractive. Now Era felt grateful that she had accepted Ursa's invitation. She was very grateful because Ursa had insisted, pushing aside the reluctance that had been ingrained in her for so long. It turned out that Ursa wasn't exaggerating when she said it would be an exciting match.

"A chamomile plantation?"Oscar nodded, his expression becoming serious. "Aaron likes to brew chamomile tea for me. So, I thought I might as well start a chamomile plantation. Besides, it could be an additional commodity for the company."Era couldn't speak. She only looked at Oscar briefly for unexpected reasons. At first, she thought that Oscar was developing the business because he was motivated to increase the coffers of his food company, Xylvaneth—exactly the same name as the Pack. But that turned out not to be the case. "You are very attentive to Aaron.""Of course. Aaron has been a great help to me. There are a few things that he somehow managed to solve very easily."But Oscar didn't want to go into details with Era. He was sure it wasn't necessary. So, he decided to keep everything to himself, from the short lessons Aaron gave him to be more patient to the brilliant idea that made him temporarily move into Era's apartment in Celestial City.Oscar couldn't imagine what would b

It seemed rare for the Xylvaneth Pack to hold two celebrations so close together. Usually, the celebrations were spaced out, and even if there had been an unexpected celebration, it would have been impossible for them to be so close together, barely two months apart. It seemed that only a month ago, the Xylvaneth Pack had celebrated The Blessing of Luna, and now they were celebrating another festival, The Inauguration of The Gamma. It was no surprise that the pack was truly joyful. After all, the Palace never failed to organize celebrations that were enjoyable for everyone. The Sacred Ceremony, led directly by Ursa, had just concluded. Dom had officially become the Gamma of the Xylvaneth Pack. People congratulated him, including Oscar and Era. Then they all left the Lunaria Forest and headed for the palace.Aaron greeted their arrival with excitement, which had been prepared as well as possible. Food was served in different menus, all of them almost meat based, except for a special me

Era was more than happy. She had convinced herself to agree with everything when it came to Oscar. Their interactions over the months had made her realize that arguing with Oscar was pointless. It only drained her energy, and besides, his wisdom had proven him right on several occasions. Now, the most important thing for Era was to end the conversation that had indicated a change in the atmosphere. The air around her began to feel different. Her body even began to show symptoms that had become familiar lately when they were alone together.Era cleared her throat and removed her hand from Oscar's. Then she rubbed her hands together, as if she wanted to erase the traces of Oscar that remained there. Meanwhile, she began to pray in her heart, hoping that there would be something to distract the attention so that the subject would soon change.Fortunately, Era's hope was soon fulfilled. The festivities made it impossible for her and Oscar to withdraw from the crowd for long. Their private

The night grew late. The party, once lively and full of laughter, began to quiet down. Some had decided to retire, tired and sleepy. One of those who stayed was Oscar. He paid no attention to the clock striking three in the morning. He continued to enjoy the camaraderie, even though Era had left the party an hour ago."Alpha."Oscar turned to find a glass of beer aimed at him. He took the drink with a nod. "Thank you.""I should be the one thanking you, Alpha," Dom said as he sat down. His hands rose and rested on the table. "I am truly grateful for the opportunity to serve you, Alpha."Basically, every member of the pack would be proud to serve his Alpha and Luna. Oscar acknowledged that, but he sensed something different in Dom's tone. There was an undercurrent of intimacy. So, he immediately prodded Dom with a question. "What's on your mind?""I heard a myth once, Alpha."Oscar's eyebrows raised. Now, upon reflection, Dom seemed to be overly obsessed with all sorts of myths. He sil

Era put aside her amazement at Oscar's enthusiasm; she had her own agenda for the day. Some of it was related to her new role as Luna, and some of it was personal. The first thing Era did after breakfast and getting ready was to review the pack's weekly reports. Often this was just a formality since the pack was in a safe and controlled state.Next was an agenda that required Era to leave the palace. The destination was a hospital built specifically for the health needs of the Xylvaneth Pack.Era's arrival was greeted with great enthusiasm. The Pack—whether they were medical staff, regular employees, or even patients—were ecstatic at her arrival. They chatted and discussed many things. Most importantly, she didn't forget to encourage the patients to get better soon.Era left the hospital with indescribable emotions. As far as she could remember, no one had ever greeted her with such enthusiasm. Not many people would look at her with such sparkling eyes. For the first time, she felt all

A sense of excitement greeted Oscar's return that night, at ten o'clock to be exact. His nostrils flared, expanding, and contracting with the joy that unexpectedly surged in his chest. A broad smile broke across his face as he calmed down and inquired, "So, you mean Era is worried about my health?"Aaron nodded, trying to hold back his own smile. "It seems so, Alpha.""Ahem!" Oscar cleared his throat again, this time scratching the tip of his temple with his index finger. "I didn't expect her to be so concerned about my health."Aaron remained silent, just enjoying Oscar's beaming expression."Alright. I guess I should see Era as soon as possible. I don't want to worry her for too long," Oscar concluded with an irresistible urge. He had to meet Era as soon as possible. "Good night."Oscar left Aaron and Philo without further ado. His original intention to discuss the work with Philo in the office was completely forgotten. This time, Aaron couldn't help but chuckle. When Philo exhaled

It was still fresh in Era's mind that she had once felt reluctant to leave the Xylvaneth Palace. The clash of metal echoed, followed by a violent jolt that almost caused Era to lose control. She growled in frustration and quickly turned the wheel to steady her car, which had almost skidded off the road.Era glanced into the rear-view mirror. There she saw a massive figure with glowing green-yellow eyes running parallel to her car.Era’s body instantly froze. It dawned on her that it wasn't a human, but a wolf, and certainly not an ordinary one. It was much larger than a normal wolf, its dark fur shimmering in the moonlight.Era swallowed hard and gathered her courage. She shifted her focus back to the road, trying to assess the situation, but at the same time more massive shadows emerged from either side of the forest. They moved quickly, bursting through the undergrowth, stalking her car like a pack of hunters closing in on their prey."Damn it!" Era cursed, gripping the wheel tightly. She stepped on the accelerator, deciding that fleeing the pack of wolves was her best option.

Era stepped out of the Opulence Bistro; her breath ragged. The sound of her sneakers scraping the pavement matched the rapid beat of her heart. The cold night air had no power to quell the fire of anger burning in her chest."Bastard," Era muttered, her lips pressed tightly together. Her frustration was so intense that it felt suffocating. She glanced back at the entrance of the Opulence Bistro for a moment before continuing on to her car. "I shouldn't have met him."You're right, Era. You shouldn't have met him. Didn't I tell you not to go? Oh God, I don't know what will happen if Oscar finds out what you're doing now.Suddenly Era's eyes closed dramatically. She responded to the words of her wolf spirit. Be quiet. I don't want to talk now.Era felt so stupid. How could she trust Freddy? She had been so naive, thinking that meeting him would lead to him releasing Amias. It wasn't that simple. The realization hit Era hard. Even if Freddy had Amias, that didn't mean he would just let h

His wine glass was still there, its contents untouched.Freddy's breathing was heavy. His chest rose and fell with uncontrollable emotions. He could barely contain himself when Bernard finally arrived, his head bowed."Bernard," Freddy growled, his face flushed with anger. His hoarse voice made the air around them feel sharp and tense. "You really made a fool of me!"Bernard mustered the courage to speak. "Alpha, I—""You said the potion would take effect in ten seconds. But what happened?" Freddy's eyes widened in anger. His jaw clenched as the memory of what had happened earlier rekindled the fire of his anger. "The potion was useless. Era wasn't affected at all."Bernard looked stunned; confusion evident in his gaze. "That's impossible, Alpha. The potion—""Enough!" Freddy snapped, his anger spinning out of control. Oscar lay motionless on the bed. All of his wounds were hidden under layers of bandages. His chest rose and fell slowly, each breath sounding labored, as if his body was still fighting the exhaustion that consumed it. He looked exhausted. A pale hue colored his face, one that usually radiated the strength of an Alpha. Even his once strong fingers now rested limply, as if surrendering to time.Beside Oscar sat Era, who had been at his side the whole time. She sat close to the bed, her fingers lightly stroking the back of Oscar's bandaged hand. The worry inside her was relentless. Fear hovered like a specter, always looming. No matter how many times Landon and Philo tried to reassure her, Era couldn't calm her mind. For her, the only way to get all the dark thoughts out of her head was to see Oscar regain consciousness. For this reason, Era stayed close to Oscar. She wouldn't go anywhere until he woke up. She even refused Aaron and Ursa's pleas for her to rest. It was impossible for her

The darkness of the night began to fade. The glow of the full moon was no longer as bright as it had been. The sky gradually shifted, leaving a gradient of purple that slowly turned into orange streaks on the horizon. The morning breeze carried the scent of damp leaves and fresh dew, soothing the weary souls that had endured the long and harrowing night. Sunlight began to creep through the tall trees, illuminating tired faces now covered in gratitude. The atmosphere, once tense and heavy, gave way to a deep silence filled with meaning. The Lunaria Forest felt desolate. The scent of earth mingled with the metallic taste of blood, leaving haunting traces of the battle that had just ended. Tall trees, usually standing proudly, appeared damaged—some with broken branches from the fury of the brutal clashes. In the midst of all the destruction, Era felt a surge of emotion well up in her chest. Her heart pounded wildly—not with fear, but with an indescribable relief.Era’s tired eyes scanned

Instinct had already sounded its warning. An uneasy feeling clung to Oscar's mind ever since he received Nicholas' challenge to a fight to the death. He knew there would be parties trying to take advantage of the situation, and his suspicions proved correct. Information leaked. No one knew who was behind it, but the supposedly private fight to the death at Riverdale Bluffs had turned into a spectacle that drew a large crowd. Oscar couldn't even keep track of which packs were present.Unfortunately, the problem didn't end there. Bad news arrived just as Oscar was preparing to face Stephen. The palace had been attacked by the Phydaron pack. As a result, Oscar left the arena in a hurry. He ignored Stephen's taunts. It didn't matter if he was branded a coward for leaving the fight. After all, he didn't owe Stephen anything, and what mattered most was Era's safety—his top priority above all else.Oscar jumped effortlessly into the helicopter, followed by Philo, Thad, and the Warriors.
