CHAPTER 124

Mia’s POV

Even though the disappearance of Dylan made the atmosphere in the pack gloomy, it didn’t stop the hurricane that was brewing in my relationship with Hercules.

Hercules might have told everyone that he had nothing to do with that girl, Nyla, but I would be the last person to believe him. Never.

Yesterday, while they got prepared to go look for Dylan, that girl was hanging around Hercules. She didn’t let him be. To make it all worse, Hercules was egging her on. He smiled as they spoke and all.

That night, when he was back, it was as if Michel was pouring salt in my wound; he made Nyla a part of the council, just like me. She had a say in decision-making. Michael said that was the least he could do since she helped them get to Jake, but I still have a feeling that the girl was out for no good.

I couldn’t keep calm as I prepared dinner that night.
