My hands shook uncontrollably as I held Rain in my arms, the weight of the sword on his back adding to the gravity of the situation. Placing my hand on his back, it quickly became stained with his blood. He reached out to touch my face, but before he could, his hand dropped to his side. The rain showed no signs of stopping, intensifying rapidly as if sensing the gravity of the life hanging in the balance.
