Gianna’s POV

The room was quiet, save for the soft rustle of leaves outside the cabin window. I lay on the bed, staring up at the wooden ceiling. Sleep evaded me my mind spinning with thoughts I didn’t want to entertain.

At least not when I want to sleep. Sleep is very important to me. I don’t joke with it especially at night.

Somewhere deep inside me I felt it, a quiet, unsettling instinct that trouble was brewing. The triplets had been absent from my thoughts for weeks pushed aside by my focus on surviva. Also on the life growing inside me.

But now with my due date looming, they were creeping back into my mind uninvited and unwanted. They are probably enjoying their lives with their girlfriends.

Why now?

The curse.

That stupid cruel curse. Had I broken it? Or were they still bound to me in some way? Since that was the main reason they wanted to mate with me in the first place.

I shifted uncomfortably, running a hand over my belly. I hadn’t felt the mating bond in ages. It

King’s POV Gianna was like a storm on the sparring mat relentless and wild. I leaned against a nearby tree with my arms crossed watching her fight like she had something to prove. She used to have something to prove but not anymore. Liam and Tom exchanged quick glances their concern growing as she refused to hold back. I told them not to let her train right from the beginning but having soft spot for her never goes well for them. "I’m not responsible for whatever happens to her” I muttered under my breath, loud enough for Liam to hear. He shot me a brief disapproving look before returning his attention to her, stepping in to block one of her overly aggressive strikes. We know she could fight and that is okay. Gianna wasn’t just sparring; she was fighting like her life depended on it. She wasn’t trying to win, she was trying to forget. They cannot see that though. They hardly understand what goes on in her head. Even Liam and Tom seasoned fighters who could usually hand

  • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   33: Caroline

Gianna’s POV The moment I saw her I knew nothing good was coming. I wonder how I even knew she was the one having never met her before. Caroline. Her wolf was even more striking up close that is pure white and sleek a stark contrast to the earthy forest. She wasn’t just unnaturally beautiful, she was dangerous, and her presence screamed trouble. Liam and Tom stiffened beside me their attention snapping to King, whose expression didn’t change. Blank as always. I wonder what would get him to show emotions in those eyes. But me? I felt something stir inside me. Anger? Jealousy? Or was it the nagging ache of vulnerability that seemed to chase me wherever I went? I pulled myself up from the ground ignoring the slight pain in my ribs. She cannot see me on the floor like a weak little thing. The baby kicked, a reminder that I needed to stay calm. Stay in control. “Who is she?” I asked my voice harsher than I intended albeit hoarse. Liam glanced at King. Tom shifted uneasily

Gianna’s POVThe pain was relentless as it was sharp and unyielding. I clutched the doorframe my breaths coming fast and shallow. I had no idea werewolf childbirth was this painful. They said it wasn’t! This wasn’t supposed to happen. Not now. Not like this. Not with that woman outside trying to see my downfall. The thought that she even knew I was pregnant before seeing me made me hate King more. He told her about my baby! He had no right to fucking do that to me. Another wave hit me this one stronger than the last and I nearly fell to my knees. A strangled gasp escaped my lips before I managed to stumble into the cabin.“Gianna?” Tom’s voice was distant and muffled but growing closer. He was running towards me. I turned leaning against the wall, my vision swimming. “I… something’s wrong,” I managed to whisper with a barely audible voice. Tom was beside me in an instant his hands steadying me. He looked around before directing me to the couch so I can seat. I don’t want to sit t

Gianna’s POVI woke to chaos.Blair’s voice was sharp and commanding barking orders I couldn’t quite make out. Tom’s frantic pacing sent vibrations on the floor and Liam’s steady presence felt like an anchor I desperately clung to.But it was the pain that truly jolted me awake no, a raw and consuming agony tearing through me worse than anything I’d felt before. My scream ripped through the room silencing everyone.“Gianna, you’re okay” Blair said firmly, her hands gripping mine. “You’re safe but we need you to focus. The baby is coming.”“No” I whispered, shaking my head. “It’s too soon. Something’s wrong.”Blair’s face didn’t betray her thoughts but the quick glance she exchanged with Liam said it all. Gods am I going to die?“Stay with me, Gianna” Blair said, her voice softening. “We can do this.”“Where’s King?” I croaked barely able to form the words. Why was I asking about him?“He’s outside” Tom muttered his tone laced with annoyance. “Said he wouldn’t leave but he’s been pacin

  • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   36: Arm’s length

King’s POVThe night was silent except for the low murmurs of Liam and Tom as they stood with me outside the hut with their eyes trained on the woods where the Alpha Kings had last been seen. I’d told them to handle it. No way I was stepping out and risking everything we have worked for. Not yet. This wasn’t the time for dramatics or confrontation. This was about strategy and about sticking to the plan we’d worked so hard to craft. We cannot throw it all away in one evening. “They’re still out there” Liam muttered, his voice low but tense.“Desperate as hell” Tom added, glancing at me. “You sure you don’t want us to end this now?”“No.” My voice was firm, cutting through the air. “I can’t risk them seeing me. Not yet. They’re fools but even fools can ruin a plan if we’re not careful.”“We’ll send them off. But they’ll be back.” Liam nodded though he didn’t look happy about it.“They’ll always come back” I said, my lips twisting into a smirk. “Because they need her. The curse is sti

  • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   37: Changing game

Gianna’s POV A smile stretched across my face as sooon as I woke up, the kind I hadn’t worn in years. They were here. They were safe. I’d done it. Despite all the chaos and pain I’d brought them into this world. My two beautiful babies. Blair was curled up on a small couch in the corner of the hut looking utterly drained. Her head lolled to one side and her arms were crossed over her chest as though even in her sleep she was standing guard. She had been my rock through this. I owed her more than I could ever repay. I’m so glad we became friends in the first place. I glanced around the room still smiling taking in the soft glow of the morning light filtering through the thin curtains. It was a rare moment of peace. And yet, as quickly as that peace came it shattered. The smile faded. My chest tightened. I shot out of bed the ache in my body from the birth barely registering as I stumbled toward the crib. My heart thundered in my chest until I saw them. my babies were

  • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   38: Escape and caught

Gianna’s POVThe night was silent except for the sound of our breathing and the faint rustle of leaves in the breeze. Liam and Tom had given us precise instructions: run east until we reached the edge of the pack’s territory then follow the river to a small town where they would find us once things calmed down. The plan was clear but my gut told me I wasn’t coming back. That once I step out of this pack, I’m never turning back around. As soon as we stepped out of the hut the babies snugly tied against Blair and me, I felt the weight of my decision. This was it. I glanced at Blair her hoodie pulled low over her face to shield her from the cold night air. Her eyes scanned the hut and the surrounding clearing like she was trying to memorize every detail. It hit me then that this place meant something to her. She had built memories here a sense of safety maybe even belonging. She grew up her whole life around here. “Blair” I said softly, hesitating. “You don’t have to come with me.

  • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   39: Game of deception

Gianna’s POVKane’s golden eyes burned into mine as he shifted back into his human form muscles rippling under his tanned skin. The wild dangerous aura that surrounded him in wolf form didn’t dissipate but it grew stronger. His jaw clenched as he took a step closer completely unbothered by his nakedness. I understand why I fell in love with them. They are too handsome and their looks were really deceiving. I tried to keep my breathing steady but the pull of the dormant mating bond flared the moment his gaze locked on mine. It felt like a live wire sparking and crackling between us. My heart raced but not just in fear but with something much more dangerous. I should be able to turn off my feelings by now. Blair stood frozen behind me clutching the babies tightly to her chest. I had to act fast. Kane wasn’t the type to hesitate. Backup could arrive any moment and once it did our chances of escape would disappear. “Gianna” Kane said his voice low, almost tender which somehow made

  • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   79: New mates

King’s POVI sat behind my desk, papers scattered across the surface in absolute chaos, frustration building as I go through the mess for the one thing I needed. That one paper… our blueprint. Every plan, every misstep, every idea Liam, Tom, and I had come up with decades ago was scribbled on it. That paper has our entire lives in it. It was supposed to be here. But it wasn’t. I had turned my study upside down. Books toppled from shelves, drawers were yanked open and dumped onto the floor and my once-organized desk looked like a battlefield. My temples throbbed as I stared at the mess trying to think where else it could be. Liam and Tom swore they had left it here when we decided to reanalyze our strategy back then. We’d needed to understand where we’d gone wrong. What could have slipped through the cracks? My thoughts were interrupted when the door creaked open and I looked up sharply half-expecting Liam or Tom to walk in with some snide comment about my ‘panic.’ Instead, Alic

  • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   78: Tight laced

Gianna’s POVI collapsed onto the ground with my limbs splayed out like a dead fish as my chest heaved for air. The cool earth felt like a balm against my overheated skin and my glare shot toward King became more dangerous. He stood over me, his arms crossed and a stupid smug smile tugging at his lips. He looked insufferably pleased with himself and somehow, that made him even more maddeningly handsome. Annoyingly so!That smug expression softened the sharp edges of his rugged face making him look younger and much more approachable. For a brief moment, my breath caught in my throat. This man was a goddess’s favorite. It was so easy to forget that beneath the imposing Alpha exterior, King was also human. A man who bled and breathed like the rest of us and yet carried himself like he was forged from fire and iron. Like he was too good to be mortal. Compared to the triplets who exuded a quiet and regal charm, King was all raw power and rough masculinity. Rugged and rough edged as thou

  • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   77: New fight

Gianna’s POVThe dream still lingered in my mind as I opened my eyes to the soft morning light through the curtains. I sat up slowly, my body tens. The dream has weight and the weight of its meaning pressing against my chest. It felt like more than just a nightmare like a warning. First the rogue’s unintelligent words and now this? The universe seemed to be yelling at me to wake up to prepare for what might come. What if they were already sniffing around the pack again? What if their desperation had finally pushed them to cross the line they had hovered near for two years? I swung my legs off the bed, careful not to wake the twins as I dressed quickly. My heart pounded as I thought about what I needed to do next. I couldn’t let this fester. If I ignored it, I’d only be blindsided later and there was no way I’d let them catch me off guard. Not again. Not after the way Kane had tackled me in the woods that time I tied to run away. King. I needed to know more about his plans. What

  • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   76: Vivid dream

Gianna’s POVThe dream was vivid. Too vivid. I stood in the middle of the grand hall I had once called home, the walls are now oppressive. The three Alpha Kings surrounded me, their presence suffocating, their stormy grey eyes filled with something I couldn’t quite name but it looks like regret? Desperation? “Gianna.” Kane start with his voice uncharacteristically soft. He stepped closer, his hand reaching out but stopping from my arm. “Please, come back. We need you.” “No.” I replied firmly, my voice steady despite the chaos inside me. “I’m content where I am. I’ve found peace. I’ve found a life without you.” Keith’s jaw tightened, his frustration bleeding through. He has always been the one I respected most amongst the brothers but no after he did nothing to stop them from hurting me. “You think this is just about us? About what we did? It’s bigger than that, Gianna. The kingdom—” But I had to cut him off. “Don’t.” I interrupted sharply, my glare locking onto him. “Don’t u

  • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   75: Royal palace 3

Klaus’s POVThe air in my study was thick with the scent of old books and burning wood from the fireplace but none of it helped calm my mind. Ingrid sat across from me on the velvet couch flipping through wedding invitations like this was all that mattered. She hummed softly to herself, utterly oblivious to the tension coiling tighter in my chest with every second that passed. All she wanted was for this goddammned wedding to take place so she become a queen. How absurd. “What do you think about this one?” She asked holding up a card with gold embossing and intricate lace edges. Her smile was bright, hopeful. “It’s fine.” I barely glanced at it.Her smile faltered slightly but she didn’t push. Ingrid never did. She was graceful, composed, the perfect picture of a future queen. And I hated that I couldn’t feel anything for her beyond duty. “You’ve been distracted lately.” She set the card down and studied me, her blue eyes narrowing just a little. “I have a kingdom to run.” I r

  • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   74: Royal palace 2

Keith’s POVThe bathroom mirror was still fogged up from the hot shower as I grabbed a towel and wrapped it loosely around my waist. Steam curled around me as I pushed open the door and stepped into my dimly lit bedroom. My muscles ached from hours of training and even more hours of listening to my brothers strategize, argue and brood. My focus was already on collapsing into bed when I froze mid step. Catherine. She was lying on MY bed completely naked, her pale skin illuminated by the faint moonlight seeping through the floor to ceiling window. Her long legs were casually crossed, her arm resting under her head and she looked at me with a sultry smile that I was sure she thought was irresistible. “Keith.” She purred, her voice low and silky. “I was starting to think you’d never come out.” My jaw tightened, my eyes narrowing as I took her in. Full breasts, toned stomach, curves that most men would have fallen over themselves to worship, it was all there. Truthfully, she was

  • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   73: Royal palace 1

Kane’s POVThe dim glow of the firelight flickered across the study as I leaned back in my chair feeling the weight of frustration settle so deep into my chest I couldn’t breathe well. My brothers, Keith and Klaus sat across from me, their faces etched with the same tired, strained expressions I was certain mirrored my own. The silence between us was suffocating and broken only by the crackle of the flamesOr sometimes the shuffling of papers scattered across the table even though they were doing nothing to help our course. For years now we had been pouring over ancient texts, records and maps desperately trying to find a solution to the curse that hung over our kingdom like a dark cloud. The once-thriving lands were quiet now, filled with a tension that no one dared to speak aloud. People whispered behind closed doors, mourning the futures they feared they would never have… children, families, legacies. It’s been years now since a new baby has been born in this kingdom. It doesn

  • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   72: Good kid

King’s POVThe knock on the door came as I was still processing everything Blair had told me. My focus snapped back to the present, my irritation flaring briefly before I reminded myself to stay composed. I am an alpha and people are coming with their complaints. “Come in.” I called. The door opened and Zoya stepped in. Her face was a mess with puffy eyes, trembling lips and the kind of tension that made it clear she’d been holding back tears. She didn’t wait for an invitation and started moving straight to the desk and sitting down, her movements heavy with exhaustion. This should be interesting. She leaned forward, resting her head on her arms for a moment before finally lifting her gaze to meet mine. “I heard what Blair told you.” She said, her voice small and steady. “And I can explain.” “Go ahead, then.” I folded my arms and leaned back in my chair, studying her.“The person Blair saw asking questions... it’s probably my father.” She hesitated, her fingers twisting toge

  • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   71: Inside news

King’s POVI stepped out of the cabin, the morning sun hitting me directly in the face I winced. Too bright. Kate and Kayden's laughter echoed faintly behind me mingling with the scent of the forest. I glanced back once, catching a glimpse of them through the window with Kate tossing popcorn into the air while Kayden attempted to catch it with his mouth. Gianna was by the side eating the breakfast I made for them. The cabin didn’t feel like mine anymore. The space I’d once guarded with so much intensity was now cluttered with small shoes, half-finished drawings and the faint scent of cookies. A part of me should have resented the intrusion but instead, I felt... satisfied. Maybe even proud. It’s the most fucked up feeling I had to announce myself feeling. Truly. I turned back toward the pack house, shaking off the thought. Satisfaction was dangerous. It made you complacent and complacency had no place in my life. Not with so much at stake right now. I made my way to the pack
