Chapter 112: Mysterious Monster

The rain lashed against the walls of the abandoned temple, the wind howling like a banshee. Inside, Davien and Hera huddled together, seeking solace in each other's warmth.

"We have to find a way out of here," Hera said, her voice barely a whisper above the storm's roar. "This place is falling apart."

"I know Hera, we should do that right now, I don't want to cause you trouble as well."

"Everything seems to be a lot easier when we are going to keep ourselves calm, so don't panic my dear," Davien said. He started to make Hera feel safe and protected, there's not much he can do but to make her feel like that emotionally. He knows how scary it would be for Hera, and he knows that he can protect her at all cost as well, he will never let Hera feel that she was going to be in trouble and of course it is his duty to make her feel cared.
