Chapter 137: Haunting

Hera, the vampire princess, gracefully paced back and forth in a calm and composed manner. She was having a lot of emotions lately that she cannot explain at all, she knows that she was having such emotions because of what she is able to find out.

The bright sphere in the sky was reflected in her red eyes. The sounds of the she-wolf being banished continued to exist in her heart like a haunting melody that will never fade away. The shadows moved around her in a dancing manner.

They reacted to the inner turmoil she felt. She was waiting for the alpha king, Davien, to arrive.

Davien, who was previously a dependable presence in her life, appeared on the terrace. The color of his eyes was golden, and they displayed regret. Hera gazed at him, her eyes piercing through the darkness. There was a significant amount of tension between them, similar to the feeling of an impending storm on a night illuminated by the moon.

She talked to Davien, and her voice was as chilly as the nighttime air.
