Kiara strode down the corridor with her mind lost in thoughts Everything had changed over the last one week since she was betrayed by Aiden, and since the claiming ceremony where Scarlett became his Luna, her life had grown from bitter to worse. She was now a maid of Scarlett, and while her step mom and her dad were living in luxury, she was given the life of a maid.

Kiara wiped the tears that rolled down her eyes, and a few more walks, she was standing right in front of the Alpha's chamber with trembling hands, shaky feet, beads of sweat dripping down her face and a fast paced heartbeat that she couldn't control.

Kiara was certain Scarlett would not be with him at this time where Aiden always needed his peace to think about his pack.

She gulped down a lump of saliva and immediately entered into the chamber to see Scarlett on the bed with only her underwear.

Kiara shook her head in disgust. Maybe this sight didn't affect her any longer because she was used to seeing it almost everyday as Scarlett always made sure to rub it at her face that Aiden was hers through the constant sex, and love plays.

"I'll take my leave now." Kiara said. She had come here to see Aiden, but since he wasn't here, it was best to take her leave. The only wrong thing Kiara did at that moment was to clutch harder onto the pregnancy test for fear of Scarlett seeing it or not losing it, and that single act was enough to grab Scarlett's attention.

Two days ago, after the constant vomiting and headache, she had headed straight to the pack doctor and found out that she was pregnant…. She was carrying Alpha Aiden's child, and more than anything, it felt like the end of the world to her.

"Is it a message for my Alpha? Give it here." Kiara heard Scarlett's voice.

Those words were like nails piercing through her heart, and in fear, Kiara replied, "No, it's not. It's no one's." She spoke. What she failed to understand was that Scarlett was her foster sister and she had grown up with her for so many years. It also meant that Scarlett could tell when she was lying or when something was wrong?. Scarlett immediately rose to her feet and began to take steps towards Kiara.

In fear, Kiara retreated back, clutching tighter to the paper she was holding. Scarlett couldn't see what was in there, but she knew it was definitely something that was worth seeing. As she made to snatch the paper from Kiara, a knock was rasped on the door. "Don't you dare move an inch." Scarlett warned before heading towards the door to open it.

"Luna Scarlett, The Alpha requests to see you immediately." Blake informed.

Scarlett turned around to see Kiara still standing at her spot, then she nodded at Blake, "Alright, let's go." She said to him and moved out of the room. What Kiara didn't expect was to be locked right in the room, and before she could even yell out loud, she heard the dangling of keys in Scarlett hands, "You need to be here until I'm back."

Kiara pushed the door hard, trying as hard as possible to let herself out, but it was all in vain. In no time, she couldn't hear Scarlett's footsteps anymore. She rested on the door for a few minutes with her eyes shut, and took in a deep breath. Could she still endure it all just for Aiden's sake? The pain was becoming too much, but she had no other choice. Once Kiara opened her eyes, the next view that came to sight was the window, and it occurred to her that it was her last option- she had to jump out because if Scarlett saw the pregnancy result, then she would definitely do something to her babies, or rather, it would cost her life.

Kiara took two long deep breaths in as she stared down. It wasn't too high thankfully, but it was gonna hurt if she jumped down. The risk was worth trying. She climbed on the window and said some prayers before jumping down to the ground. Although, Kiara had successfully landed on her feet, but it did hurt like she had expected because she had poured too many energy. She groaned in pain and when her eyes fell on the paper on her hands, she folded it into a smaller size and tucked right at the middle of the flower tree in front her. There was no fucking need for Scarlett to know about the baby in her womb because that would endanger her life as it would stand as a threat to her position as Luna. The only option she had was to tell Aiden about the baby, and know his next plans.

As Kiara approached the next hall which was the Alpha King's meeting room, she took a deep breath in and out, but heard her name the next moment.

"Stop right there!"

Kiara froze. What the hell was going on. As she turned to look around, her gaze met with that of beta Cass. "What's wrong?" She questioned, but the two men standing behind me suddenly came towards her and grabbed her by the arms.

"I'm so sorry, Kiara. It wasn't my order." Cass spoke out of pity, staring at her with sad eyes, and it made Kiara wonder what the hell was wrong. Was the order coming from Scarlett after what happened?

"Bring her along!"

Kiara didn't bother to ask any questions until they got to Alpha king Aiden second chamber room. The door was opened, and a confused Kiara walked right into his chambers to meet Aiden and Scarlett seated side by side. As soon as Aiden spotted her, the smile on his face faded immediately, and turned into a deep frown which to Kiara meant that something was wrong.

"On your knees!" He commanded.

Kiara arched her brows in surprise. Aiden had never told her to go on her knees before, and even after he had claimed Scarlett, he still sometimes had a soft spot for her. As she stared at his eyes, she could see something different_ anger, mixed with a feeling of betrayal was rather burning deeper inside of him than she had expected. What was wrong? Had she done something she wasn't supposed to do? Discarding all other thoughts, Kiara slowly went on her knees and lowered her head to greet Alpha Aiden.

"Who's Jackson?"

"Jackson!" Kiara thought inwardly and averted her gaze to Scarlett who had a dirty smirk on her face while folding her arms. "You really proved to me that you were nothing but a whore. A cheating whore, and you do not deserve a place in my pack."

Kiara's heart thumped so hard. Who the hell was Jackson? She had never even heard the name before or neither does she know him. She made to speak, but the door was opened and a young man walked in. As he stood side by side with Kiara, he lowered his head to greet Alpha Aiden.

"Here's everything that you asked for, Alpha."

Kiara cocked her head towards the man who had just spoken because his voice sounded so very familiar. She had heard it from someone, and she nearly gasped when she saw him. Wasn't this Scarlett's secret boyfriend in the past? She even recalled seeing the two of them make love in secret on several occasions. When he handed Alpha Aiden photos, Kiara finally understood what was going on. This was a set up and it was Scarlett behind all of it.

Aiden's grip tightened on the pictures as he held and stared at them one after the other. Was this really Kiara naked in the photo with a man lying beside her? Just like Scarlett had said, she really betrayed and made a fool out of him and the love he had for her in the past. This betrayal was hurting more than ever, and maybe because it was Kiara, the lady whom he had loved with all of his heart. Aiden thought again, maybe that was the sole reason why the moon goddess didn't mate them! She was a fucking whore! Sadly he had nothing to do with her, but why was it stipp hurting him.

Tears rolled down Kiara's eyes. There was no explanation that would make Aiden believe her because she had seen it in his eyes, and it was buried deep down_ his hate for her. She rubbed her tears, and sniffled unable to utter a word or even deny the allegations. When Kiara thought about the baby she had recently discovered was in her womb, her heart weakened and she made up her mind not to tell him about it. If she did, then he would never believe this baby was his, but a product of what she had been accused of.

"I banish you, Kiara Everhart from the Blood Moon Pack. You're dead to me and to this pack, and the day we ever meet again, I'll make sure you suffer miserably in my hands because I won't spare you, mark my words!"

Kiara couldn't control her tears, and when she was being dragged out, she told herself one thing, that day would never come_ the day where she would ever set eyes on him again, and if it did, then it wouldn't be this Kiara... It would be a stronger Kiara willing to set the world ablaze for her child.

A FEW WEEKS LATER} {CHICAGO 5:40 PM} “I sincerely never stopped loving you Taylor, I never stopped remembering everything we shared, not until you changed. And I'm grateful for everything.” Blake uttered as stood straight up while his gaze was still fixed on the ocean. “l know you still loved me but I'm sorry I couldn't give you that same love and affection you always had when we were still together. Things just had to change and I also had to move on. I learned that we all need to give love a second chance and to my greatest shock, I did, and it worked out fine. I'll be okay and I hope you will as well be wherever you are now. Thank you so much for your sacrifice, Taylor.” He declared softly as he inhaled a deep breath and threw the bouquet he had in his hand straight to the sea. “Farewell Taylor.” He whispered as he shut his eyes deeply while a tear rolled down from his eyes. “Hey “ Lisa whispered as she walked up to Blake and cuddled him from behind. “I'm sure she's glad t

Kiara packed her hair in the form of a ponytail and applied a little makeup before she stood before the mirror. She had already made sure the house was peaceful and the kids had gone to school. “Hey,” Lisa called out as she leaned on the wall close to the front door. “Good morning.” “Good morning Lisa.” Kiara greeted and she took one more glare at her reflection before grabbing her keys. “Are you set to go now, because it was like you were taking ages you know?” Lisa teased and it made Kiara chuckle a bit. “Yeah, let's leave now.” Kiara responded. That said, they both walked outside immediately. As soon as they got to Kiara's car, Lisa opened the door and climbed into the front seat, next to the driver's seat and so did Kiara. Without hesitation, she turned on the engine and began to drive straight to the hospital. Kiara applied the brakes as soon as she got to the hospital grounds. As she climbed out of the car and shut the door behind, she began to walk inside immediately while

“Can I get my receipt?.” Lisa questioned as she tried to carry her shopping bags but she couldn't because they were too many. She had purchased so many items for the house upkeep and for the kids as well. “Do you need a hand with that?” Lisa hears a voice speak to her from behind. Oh I think I'm fine, you don't need to..” Lisa's jaw dropped the moment she turned to face him. “With the look of things here, I think you need a second hand and I do have one to spare.” As he spoke, Lisa's gaze had almost pulled off his T-shirt. “Oh yeah, I think I really need that spare hand for myself.” She whispered softly. “Excuse me?” . His voice jolted her to reality once again. “Oh I'm so sorry, I guess I could use a hand please.” Lisa responded while her warm smile smudged on her lips. “I'm Daniel.” Lisa heard the voice once again as he helped her carry most of the bags, leaving her with just one.” “Oh you really don't have to..” “Let's just go.” Daniel cut her as he began to walk out of the

As soon as she darted her gaze to the door, she spotted Cass and without hesitation, she returned her attention to her meal. Cass stood still as he watched Caroline eat and pretended like she had never seen him walk inside. The moment Caroline noticed he kept staring at her, she felt uncomfortable. She hastily rose to her feet and as she turned to leave, she felt a grip on her hands. Cass pulled her to him and gasped her hands tightly. “Hey, why are you acting weird all of a sudden?” He

Caroline sighed deeply as she averted her gaze up to the wall clock. “ By what time?” She questioned as she brushed her hair backwards and she climbed out of the bed weakly.“In two hours,” Miguel replied and ended the call before Caroline could utter any more words. Caroline heaved deeply and then began to walk straight to the restroom. As she sat on the toilet seat, what happened between her and Cass replayed on her head. The moment she got to the back seat, she opened the door quickly and helped Cass climb outside. “I warned you not to drink too much Cass.” She uttered as she struggled to assist him but Cass pushed her to the floor immediately while he began to walk inside. “Argh.” Caroline groaned in pain as she struggled to get back on her feet to assist him. The moment Cass reached the front doorstep, he collapsed on the floor instantly. “Why do you prefer hurting this much, Kiara?” Cass whispered and shut his eyes immediately. A deep frown appeared on Caroline's lips as she heard Cass's voice. “You're also hurting me as well Cass, please can't you just love me back?
