CHAPTER 71

Shawn’s POV

In the blood moon pack.

I sat by the fire staring into it as though apparitions were communicating with me. They became bolder and bolder as the firewood cackled under the deep heat pressure it faced.

I blinked to be sure my eyesight was clear and I wasn’t just seeing things, but they kept coming closer.

Brown ferocious wolves covered in blood that smelled familiar. All of a sudden my shirt got drenched as heavy beads of sweat ran down my face.

I began muttering a few spells that I knew could ward off those bloodthirsty beasts. I didn’t know when I got lost in the enchantment until I was tapped on for a second time.

“You okay boy?” Shadowvile called hovering over me with a large chunk of meat.

“Well- yeah sure,” I cleared my throat and blinked once more looking in my previous direction and around me to find traces of my constant mind tormentors but couldn’t find any.

“Well, I doubt that because you look like you had just seen a goblin- or perhaps a troll,”
