CHAPTER 66

Lily's POV

After Marcus left the room, I hurried off the bed and back into the bathroom. I felt very nauseous earlier on but I fought hard to control it, so he would not make a fuss out of it.

I could not allow any more people to know of my baby. I knew a doctor had come in to check me while I passed out.

Looking at myself in the mirror I remembered my conversation from earlier with Clara.

“What did the doctor find?” I asked her as she stepped into the bathroom.

“You can keep calm, he could not find any pulse to read. Quite mysterious right?” Clara had replied.

I wondered why he could not find any pulse and was worried about it. Clara had agreed to come back after Marcus had left, so we could go to see her father.

Throwing up now made me confused as to whether it was the aftermath effect of the potion I drank or if it was still my babies intact.
