Chapter two

Liam POV

    I walked majestically to the front of my people, I saw my parents and siblings looking at me proudly, my father hand over the pack to me two years ago so that he can have time for his mate which is my mother, I smile at them while everyone was cheering.

I look up at Eric who was looking at me with guilty eyes and then I realized what just happened "you told them" I screamed at him in my head

"I am sorry alpha but they could feel my excitement and they force me to tell them"

"damn, I will deal with you later" I replied before facing my people "I am happy to be back among you people and I promise to protect everyone," I said

"did you find your mate," someone asked me

"of course he did, he will be introducing her to everyone very soon" my father answered when I was being reluctant

some people cheer while some ladies was sad, I. can't help but notice it, I am their alpha meaning I can feel most of their emotions

"yes, I will be introducing your Luna to you very soon," I said before moving away for Eric to take charge. my sister Clara was the first to hug me "welcome home brother, I miss you"

"I miss you too my pumpkin" I tease her with her nickname which earns me a swirled from her "mum" I greet her with a hug too

"my son, I am happy you are back and also that you found your mate" she replied with a kiss on my cheek

"I thought you will be coming with her," my sister asked me

    They were pestering me with the mating issue already and I know I won't see the end of it until I bring her home "why don't we go inside and discuss this, I am famished too"

"oh dear, I already asked them to prepare your favorite"

   The face of my mate came to me, I didn't even let her introduce herself meaning I don't know my mate name "thank you mother"

we all went inside to the big hall where food is already been served, I sat with my family to enjoy the dish "Eric told us she is human" my father asked immediately we ate finish

I shook my head, Eric can't just keep to himself "yes father and I don't think she knows about us yet" I replied judging from the way she spoke to me today

"but she is your mate brother," Clara said

"I know that but it's going to take a long time"

"are you going to tell her about our world," my father asked again

"of course he will, she is his mate" my mother answered for me

"she is my mate and I won't let go of her for anything"

Eric scoffed where he was because he knew how I treated her early, o quickly mindlink him to caution him and his running mouth "I should go to my office"

"you just arrive today and I know you haven't rested from the whole journey," my mother said worriedly

"she is right son, the pack isn't running away, take a rest today, and tomorrow you will resume fully"

"thank you father, I will be on my way now," I said standing up "Eric, you should get some rest too" I advised

"thank you alpha" he replied

"won't you stay in the packhouse today," my mother asked

I know she misses me and I should probably stay but Vivian must be waiting for me at home, I need to put that girl in her place "no mother but don't worry, I will be here early tomorrow morning" I promised with a hug

   on getting back to my place, I saw Vivian sitting on the porch with her phone in her hands "is it true" she confronted me

"I should be asking what you are doing in my house and what are you blabbering about," I said angrily

"I thought you were going to make me your mate" she laments

"you aren't my mate, why should I make you my mate" she is being delusional

"you love me," she said throwing herself at me

I slightly pushed her back "get a hold of yourself, Vivian, you are just a fling and I think I made myself clear in the first place" I reminded her

"But I fell in love with you" she was starting to shed her crocodile tears

"that is your problem, not mine, I don't want you, and thank God you know I found my mate, you should look for your mate too"

"I rejected him so I can be with you," she said proudly and I feel bad for the poor guy, I won't be able to live another day if my mate rejects me

"then go accept him because I want nothing to do with you"

"who is she, who is that lady that thinks she can take you from me " she started to act all sassy

"know where you are and who you are talking to" my wolf hate to be disrespected

she bows her head to show respect but she still out on her attitude "I love you Liam" she touched my face and I felt like puking

"you need to leave now" her presence have started to irritate me

"But I came here because of you"

"I want you to leave and I don't want you ever coming to my house because I don't want my mate seeing you" I started pushing her towards the door and finally out.

    I was glad to finally get rid of her, I went to my bedroom to remove my clothes because I know I need a lot of cold showers after today's event and awaits tomorrow.

Hanna POV

    I was told with today job but still waiting for Gabe, that was the nickname I gave to Gabriel, he has called that he was already on his way here, my mind drifted to that blue eyes guy and I can't help but get turned on by his thoughts in my head, he was muscular and something was intriguing about him that wants her to be in his arms.

    Gabe bang into where I was "girlfriend, I was told you had some visitors today" he said

"Just because you are dating my receptionist doesn't give her the right to be telling you everything" I replied

"she was looking out for you, so what happened," he said grabbing a chair for himself

"two guys named Eric and Liam was here today" I started

"you mean alpha Liam was here himself, I am in trouble" he interrupt me

"you know him and why do you call him alpha, is it some code name"

"I will explain everything, what does he want"

"he said he wants the building down"

"I should have known, Hannah, we need to bring the building down, I promise to help look for another wonderful place" he pleads

"you are joking right" why does he fear this person do much, is he some sort of Mafia

"I am not joking, he is dangerous Hannah and you don't want to mess with him"

"I don't care, this is my company"

"but he owns the land" he responded immediately shutting me up "we will go there tomorrow morning and see if we can beg him"

I was staring at him like someone who lost his mind "can you please explain what is going on here"

"you are a human, you aren't supposed to be on the land without our alpha permission," he said

"human?" I looked at him puzzled "I still don't understand" I cross my arm on my chest

"This land belongs to werewolves and you don't have permission here because you are human"

"what about you, you also live here and we both know werewolves are fairytale," I said

he scratched the back of his head "I am serious Hannah, the guy that came here today is our Alpha" he said seriously

"you are a wolf" I voiced out and jumping out of my chair after it finally click on me

"I don't mean for you to find out this way" he apologized and trying to calm me down

"do not touch me, we have been friends for how many years now, tell me you are joking" I plead with him, he better be joking and this should be one of his pranks

"I wish I was, hate me all you want but we need to go to the packhouse tomorrow"

"packhouse?" I was still astounded to comprehend what he is talking about

"that is a house where werewolves live except if you choose not to"

I still can't believe my best friend of six years is a wolf "you know what I don't care, my building is not going anywhere"

"it's not up to us again" he sighed standing up "I know you won't let me drop you after hearing all of this but I will be at your place tomorrow to take you to the packhouse," he said before leaving my office.
