Liam POV

     Eric was waiting for me in my office immediately after I got there "don't you have other things to do, what about your mate"

"she is with your mother, and before I forget, won't you welcome her into the pack, I don't want people seeing her as a rogue," I said displeased

"We can do that tomorrow if you want"

"it's fine by me, I will ask her for her opinion, I can't seem to be able to mind link her yet"

she isn't a member of our pack and he also hasn't marked her as his mate, she won't be able to communicate, I understand that "we will do the ceremony, don't worry"

"Alright, so why is she moving into the pack house," he asked referring to Hannah

"she is in danger and I won't be able to keep her safe if she isn't here with me," I told him

"danger? what danger can she be again"

"her parents called last night, they are looking for her"

"was that why you spent the night at her house," he asked concerned

"I couldn't leave her" I replied

he nodded understanding what I was going through "do you know who our parents are"

"I plan on digging about them, maybe warned them to stay away from her"

"I also heard alpha Tyler is searching for his chosen bride"

"he never search for them," I said stunned "he just pick another"

"I am more surprised than you are, our informant said he refused to pick another bride and he is planning a war with any pack protecting her"

"This is serious, are you sure you want us to do the welcoming ceremony for Ariana, her location might leak out," I said to reason with him

"I don't know but I don't like it as I am unable to mind link with her, how do I know she is safe or she is in danger"

that was another point "what are we going to do"

"I seriously don't know" I can see he was hurting too, this was his mate we are talking about

"what about we write to him telling him she found her mate and he should look for someone else"

"you know he is a psychopath, he won't listen"

     There is a knock at the door, I wondered who might it be "come in" I told the person, in walk Ariana

"Sorry to disturb," she said shyly, "the alpha mum said you will be here," she said to Eric

"thank God you are here, we are just discussing you," I told her

with her reaction, I can see that she is scared "are you sending me away"

"no" Eric answered "why will I want to send my mate away" Eric pulled her into his laps

"ohh" she sighed

"We are discussing if we should tell your former alpha about you finding your mate, maybe he will understand"

"Alpha Tyler never understand, one of his chosen brides was killed by him because she found her mate and he came to know about it" she explained with fear in her voice

"told you he is a psychopath," Eric said stroking her hair in his hand

"didn't her mate take revenge on him," I asked

"he killed the both of them, her mate was one of his servants," she said "you can't tell him I am here" she pleads with me

"We won't be telling him again" I promised "and we will keep you safe here" I assured her

I looked into Eric's eyes and I saw he was sad too "everything will be okay, we are stronger than he is" I told them

"thank you alpha," Eric said "can we go now," he asked

"sure" I will take a nap too

"why you didn't get any sleep last night" he teased, now the playful Eric is back

"get out of here" I playful smack his head

  he laughed as he left with Ariana smiling behind him.

Hannah POV

     Gabe didn't even wait till lunchtime before he appears in my office "are you here to see me or do you just miss your girlfriend" I asked him

"we broke up" he answered as if it was nothing

"that's my receptionist you are talking about" I reminded him

"you should understand by now, she isn't my mate"

"Why did you date her when you know she isn't your mate" I sounded offended

"I am a man with need" he shrugged

I wondered how many women Liam has also been with, they are his past, I should not but I still felt jealous by the thought "that is not an excuse Gabe"

"or you are jealous Liam will be like me too" he teased me

"no" I lied "just concerned about my employee emotions

"don't worry, she knew it was just a fling anyway"

I rolled my eyes at him, "you came here for a reason" I reminded him

"don't think I will discuss it with you here while humans are working for you, I am taking you out," he said

"you should have let me in from the beginning, maybe I would have employ people like you"

"I didn't know you will be one of us mate" he replied at the same time I used on him

"whatever, let me grab my things"

"I am waiting," he said resting his back on the chair

"where are we going," I asked

"let's go have lunch, then I will take you to your place, you will need to pack"

"you are right, let's go," I told him

    When we got to the restaurant, he order me my favorite and I smile at him "you are paying" I told him

"but you are the CEO," he said back into my face

"you drag me out of work at this time of the day" putting the straw to my drink in my mouth

"Okay, I will pay" he accepted defeated "have you forgiven me" he raised all of a sudden

"I don't know" I replied honestly

"common Hannah, you should understand why I didn't tell you"

"that is not an excuse, I told you everything about me"

"fine I am sorry" he apologized once again

"I haven't forgiven you but I will not ignore you" I answered

"I can live with that, so what's with you and moving to the packhouse"

"my mum called last night," I said

"finally, so she later misses you, have they realized their mistake"

"if they have, I won't be moving to the packhouse, thank God Liam was with me yesterday"

"Alpha Liam was with you," he asked stunned

"yea, he said he was just passing by"

"I see," he said as if he knew something that I don't "so, what does your mum want"

I ignore my suspicious "she wants me back home to get married to my fiance, someone I don't know"

"that is absurd, after how many years, she called you for that"

"more than that, she threatened me this time around, she said my father will be coming for me"

"don't worry yourself, you are safe here"

"I won't be too sure, I know my father with all the connections he has"

"connections don't work here Hannah, you know what, eat your meal so we can go"

   "okay" I obeyed, this food is too delicious to be ignored anyway

      After lunch, he drove us to my place "my car is at work" I said when it finally click to me

"I can help you bring it later" he offers

"don't worry, Liam will be dropping me tomorrow, so I will just pick it up then" I said

"if you say so"

I opened the door to my house and we both walked in "he slept here" he exclaimed

"how can you tell that" I asked, it's not like any of his belongings is here

"this place reeks of him, I can smell him all over the place especially on this couch" pointing the the place he slept last night

"you werewolves are pretty amazing" I said awe and he looked at me that that's was not the questions he asked "anyway, he didn't want to leave me all by myself last night, that is why he slept here"

he raise his eye  "you are his mate and he slept here" he said as if it was something bad

"he was a gentleman" I defended him

"that is pretty hard to believe, how was it to spend the night with an alpha" he nudge me

"I won't know, I slept in my room and he was here, stop with the tease already"

"fine, so what are those things you want to pack" we entered into my room

"few clothes, books and some things in the bathroom"

"I can help with the books" he said as he went to where I keep my books "where are the boxes"

"check under my study table" I told him as I entered into my bathroom

I grabbed a nylon, pack my brush, shampoo, soap, hair conditioner and other necessary things inside, I came out and then pack my clothes as we both chi-chat. a knock at the door interrupt us "he is here"
